Habs fan since 1985, but the past couple years sliding more towards my actual hometown team - who'll have a shot for a 3rd straight #1 overall pick at this rate. :(

Grew up as a Sabres fan living in northern Pennsylvania.
My interest waned in college (my last year of college was the year of the lockout) and upon graduation I moved to the Pittsburgh area. I tried for a year or so, futily, to stay a Sabres fan in the post-lockout era. But I got drawn in to the 'burgh crowd. Sports are just a way of life around here.
Hence I am now a diehard Penguins fan, though I still have a soft spot for the Sabres as long as they're not playing the Pens.

I was a huge fan of the nordiques but we all know how that ended...and since the rangers sent avery back into the minors i sorta started watching the bruins. Long live lucic!

Not sure this year's draft is going to have any game-breaking upper-round one picks, but I haven't looked real hard at this year's draft class yet.

gil is very good in penalty kill, and thats about it, the guy doesn t hit or fight, and he is getting slower on the ice by the minute...

hehe np, besides they already started making some changes by trading cammalleri for bourque and dressing emelin every game now, that kid is like7th overall for hits in the league but he only played 36games.

I was a bit surprised by this, I don't really expect a hit like this from Ovechkin. Maybe I just don't pay enough attention. He also took himself out of the All Star game due to his suspension :O.

Ovechkins a lot more physical than most of the high scorers out there. He's always been pretty rough, but get's away with a lot of it because he's a superstar.
