1.) any that doesn't cater to American people (Amerianime, as I call them)
2.) the authentic, off-the-wall anime that were the shiz (Elfen Lied, Hellsing, MS Gundam Wing to name a few)
3.) any with slap-stick japanese humor in the middle of a serious situation (Slayers rule!)
