What do you think about this impeachment Rava? It'll be interesting to see Trump being grilled under oath once it reaches the Senate, don't you agree?

Why is this weirdo still trying to talk to me? But on Shi's point, Mitch won't stop it, but if they make hearsay inadmissable then the whole prosecution is DOA.

This is never going to goto the senate.
A) theres no public appetite for it.
B) theres no evidence, (hearsay is not evidence)
C) Biden and any number of countless conspirators will be called to testify and that would expose all the corruption on the dem side.
In the beginning of the week it was in Pelosi’s best interest to control the narrative. After the ***show of these hearings, it would be a disaster if Pelosi lost control of this to Mitch.
The stock market is up almost 200 points, if there were anything in these hearings today, it would be down 600 points.

Yep. The deep state is real, out to get Trump, and has been since day 1. The idea that he would willingly include them on all his foreign policy is ridiculous. They work for him and he is not obligated to include people looking to destroy him in his policy decisions.
I wouldn't use the term "deep state", it's from a conspiratorial point of view and thats not whats happening. "Deep State" is just what happens when government bureaucracy gets involved in national politics. Remember government workers are people too, they have political beliefs, they vote, they have one of the biggest unions in the USA and they have party affiliations. Now when you have a diverse split among them, then politics never enters into, but when one party dominates the bureaucracy then it's possible for that bureaucracy to become corrupt.
The Democrats just happen to be the ones running the government from the inside right now, traditionally it's been the Republicans. Look at Eisenhower, the "red scare" and all the silliness with Nixon to see the shoe being on the other foot. Its not going to really matter what they are called, the opposition will refer to their conceptual existence as a debunked conspiracy. That’s SOP for their radical ideology.

Still anyone's guess. But the hearings aren't giving us anything notable, which makes the political calculus that much more difficult for Pelosi.

Kind of like how the actual Ukrainians that Trump "pressured" say they felt no pressure, but we're going to base an impeachment around the assumption that they did. Funny how people think they go back and edit history. Well the Soviets were incredibly good at it and the Chinese still are so it kinda fits that modern communists think they can do it too.

It's kind of a weird interpretation though, I mean of course any reply from a Ukrainian government official is going to be scripted and approved by that government and this would matter .... IF we had an unscripted recording of that same official saying how they felt pressured.
Like if we had an Ukrainian official saying "man that Trump is pressing our balls to get this Hunter guy, not sure he'll give us that aid unless we do it" on a recording, then I'd take that recording over an official statement any day. Of course we don't have any such recording, though the lefties like to use Hopes and Dreams instead.

Rep Swallwell just openly said Trump needs to prove his innocence, that isn’t how our system of laws works.
Secondly, Trump has already proven his innocence, he released the transcript, which shows no hint of misconduct.
