All Presidents abuse power. It is mostly because Congress doesn't do anything. Want to be mad at someone tell Congress to actually do something.

CAN'T do anything, is more accurate. They're too busy fighting.

All the more reason to change from representative republic to dictatorship. If we don't like our dictator we can just kill em and get a new one. Just like the Middle East.

I pointed out that Trump could have had an investigation all nice and legal like.

It would be really easy to get Ukraine investigating the Bidens. All Trump needed to do was to call his personal Roy Cohen over at the DOJ and ask for an investigation of that gas company, then Mr Lapdog would ask the Ukrainians for cooperation.

Bingo. Ukrainian investigation.

But Trump is the kind of asshat who likes to squeeze people just for fun. And he allready had a grudge on for Ukraine anyway.

So squeeze....
John kelly warned Trump...

Quote:
Former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly told the Washington Examiner that the impeachment inquiry of President Donald Trump “pains him” and that during his final days on the job, he warned the president not to hire a “yes man” or “you will be impeached.”

what's the evidence here?

Hearsay and Presumptions are not evidence. Sondland is the ONLY one who actually spoke to the president out of this democrat clown show, and he testified today that the president told him he wanted nothing from Ukraine, absolutely nothing.

That's it dude, there is no there, there.

This is just so easy. Nausi is completely ignoring everything Sondland said just to focus on a meaningless phone call on Sept. 9th, two days before the quid pro quo collapsed. Of course, who can blame him? Thats exactly what the GOP and Trump is trying to do, and its not working for them either.

They're only fighting because the democrats can't get over the loss of the 2016 election.

I concur, never happened. We were watching live at work. His testimony was clear...as indicated by all the spinning from the right.

To be clear, I couldn't stand Hillary. I lost respect for her when she didn't dump her husband for cheating. The whole 2016 claim is just more spinning of excuses. It's actually really simple, Trump needs to be held accountable for his criminal behavior.

So say you and many other Trump fans...yet no one from the legal teams representing Trump and his interests are using this as a defense. Why do you think that is?

Know what else didn't happen today?

Twitter whiffs again

Quote:
A misleading claim about the head of the Ukrainian energy company at the heart of the House impeachment inquiry went viral across conservative pockets of social media Wednesday, receiving hundreds of thousands of retweets and shares from some of the president’s most ardent online supporters.

The incorrect story, first disseminated by the finance blog ZeroHedge, claimed that Mykola Zlochevsky, the head of Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company, had been indicted over money laundering related to the Biden family. Hunter Biden, son of former Vice President Joe Biden, was previously on Burisma’s board of directors.

In fact, there was no announcement of an indictment. Ukraine’s chief prosecutor, Ruslan Ryaboshapka, announced in October his office would conduct a wide-ranging review of all previous cases involving Burisma, and Wednesday said he was including possible embezzlement in the investigation, according to Reuters.

...

Within an hour of ZeroHedge publishing its story, the claim of an indictment had been spread on Twitter by tens of thousands of users. According to results on the Twitter analytics tool Hoaxy, the indictment claims were propelled by Charlie Kirk, the leader of the conservative group Turning Point USA, as well as a conspiracy theorist, Jack Posobiec, and the anonymous @BreakingNLive, an account that has become notorious for spreading misinformation. The account also boasts of being retweeted by the president.

Completely fooled nausi. Anytime you see Mike Coudrey, Jeff Pozobiec, or John Solomon say something about Ukraine, its 100% facts I don't like.

Sondland admitting he has no evidence Trump did anything bad.

"No one told me directly that the aid was tied to anything. I was presuming it"was".

Sondland admitting the president told him he wanted "nothing" from Ukraine.

Reminder, lefties are the only ones who still believe the media. Everyone else knows they lie to us.

We don't need the media to tell us what Sondland testified to in his opening remarks and subsequent testimony. He clearly established the quid pro quo, a team was assembled in May to pressure the Ukraine to investigate his political rival in exchange for a WH meeting with Trump. The aid did not become involved in the scheme until it was blocked in late June/early July, and Sondland was not involved with that part of it.

This video pretty much sums up my opinion about the whole impeachment inquiry.

YouTube Video Placeholder

One thing that was interesting that was stated was that when the US provides foreign aid they want to make sure that the receiving party/nation isn't corrupt.

Also ~ why would the US give free aid? I feel like often times when the US is involved in providing military aid there is some sort of deal that's brokered so both sides benefit. So wouldn't any US military or financial involvement be considered a quid pro quo if the US is getting something in return? but yet here we are. Getting any damning information on the Biden's means nothing because Biden isn't the democrat's presidential candidate. Unless he's already their candidate and they're going to a hillary move over everyone else or this could be the tip of the iceberg to a lot more government corruption.

Everything so far through these testimonies is just hearsay and there's no substantial evidence and if this inquiry leads to an impeachment vote they won't have any solid evidence to use in a trial.

It really is weird how not only has Devin Nunes gone so far off the rails but the fact the GOP even allowed him to be the ranking member of any committee after he completely botched his chairmanship of the Intel committee.
