See all of that is true, except that he had to be a dumbass and make it look like he wanted personal gain from it. Trump is ALWAYS about "ME"
There's nothing illegal about what he did, aside from the fact that trump is trump and a moron. he HAD to (try) to get something for himself out of it.

Bismarck.Josiahflaming said: »Was a reason ever provided for why the white house decided to delay the foreign aid in the first place? Sounds odd. Never. And apparently the president had no legal authority to delay it. This is incorrect.
Ukraine was instrumental in the corruption of the 2016 election. Trump wanted to make sure zalinsky was the real deal before he handed over the money. This is evidenced by the indictment regarding Burisma and hunter biden that came out today.
Trump wanted to make sure that the aid wasn’t going to line anyones pockets. So he waited until he could verify Zalinski was serious about his campaign promises of transparency.
The delay did not violate any law, and it was not conditional on any investigation per the testimony of every person called so far.
This is all fake, especially the part about Ukraine being a part of the 2016 election. They didn't do anything. Its nice tho that nausi is admitting the money was delayed, seems like he abandoned that particular talking point that it wasn't.

oh! the new dumbest thing I've ever heard in my entire life
"The American people aren't stupid" So does that mean you think the american people ARE stupid?
Quote: Think about this: think about how stupid the average person is, and then realize that half of 'em are stupider than that.

Delaying the aid because he wanted an investigation into his political rival is actually a crime. Its a clear abuse of power.

That's what I said. Delaying the aid itself isn't a crime. What he attached to it made it the crime.

On Sept. 24 Trump told the UN that he had frozen the money to put pressure on European allies and other countries to contribute more money to Ukraine

Are political rivals no immune to investigation then?

I'm sure you are an expert on the topic. In fact you probably wrote the law that Trump violated.

I don't think so but if Trump it does it probably illegal.
Hillary Clinton does it perfectly acceptable.

If we only had politicians who never abused their powers, we would have no politicians. But when Orange Man (supposedly) abuses his powers? That's when everyone loses their freaking minds.

He did not want to be the only country funding a corrupt government (if Zalinski was indeed corrupt).

he got caught. That's the difference maker.
We're all "comfortable" knowing illegal things happen all day every day. and you can do them, just don't get caught. That's the rule

I'm sure you will post proof of this...nah you will just assume you are right and be a smug *** about it. Trump can absolutely delay money to pressure ukraine to hold up its end of an anti corruption treaty, which would involve investigating Biden who is on tape bragging about his corruption. Which btw was completely vindicated today.

Absolutely no case. Hey now I still hold out hope that they have an actual witness to any of the alleged events to make a case.

No he can't, there is no treaty that allows a President to leverage financial aid and a WH visit in exchange for an investigation into his political rival. There was nothing vindicating Trump today, it was a terrible day for the GOP. They tried to zero in on a phone call that took place on September 9th, 4 months after the pressure campaign started. It didn't work.

All Presidents abuse power. It is mostly because Congress doesn't do anything. Want to be mad at someone tell Congress to actually do something.
Welp Rp&r is shut down but p&r is not. So i offer a specific challenge to all my fellow gamers.
Impeachment is a scam. Change my mind.
Rep Swallwell just openly said Trump needs to prove his innocence, that isn’t how our system of laws works.
Secondly, Trump has already proven his innocence, he released the transcript, which shows no hint of misconduct.
