Really? You're comparing profiling/suspicion of a race to SE banning someone in a game? My advice: if you decide to start posting on these forums, make a reasonable contribution to the thread other than some incorrect statement stemming from your "victimization."
Wow.....really........you taking what I said that damn seriously?
It was meant as a joke...(a true joke actually).
I am so sorry that I injured your eyes with my text.
Please forgive me.

After reading these posts I'm inclined to agree with several people that there's more to the story.
I've settled on a complex narrative where OP unwittingly bangs a GM's wife, spreading delicious herpes. GM goes batshit insane after contracting the virus, murdering his wife by slowing hacking off all her limbs, dissolving said limbs in a bathtub full of lye and sending the torso to the bottom of the nearest body of water; but not before a thorough inquisition reveals the source of said herpes.
Still enraged beyond the level of Chicken Nuggets, GM prepares for the only fitting end to the life of someone in the customer service field: Murder-Suicide. Using his considerable means of minimum wage, OP is tracked by vengeful GM who is ready for final battle. All eventualities are accounted for, save one: The effective range of the RASCAL brand mobility scooter is only 3.5KM on a single charge, and OP lives somewhere between 3.501KM and 12,740KM. Curses, foiled again! But the rage is too great, Vengeful GM must have closure before he rides the wings of the Valkyries to Valhalla. In his act of greatest shame, Vengeful GM breaks the GM's honorbinding oath by issuing an unjustified (in the context of the game) Ban. Ready to die a warriors death, Vengeful GM ingests a full box of Mallomars and slips into a diabetic coma, from which he never awakes.
So on the whole, I'd say OP got off easy.
OMMFG! I actually heard my jaw crack from laughing so hard.

If it's against the ToS to sell items to an NPC for large amounts of gil in a short time, myself and several people I run with would have been banned by now.
I don't buy crafting items and the like from AH and sell to an NPC, because frankly, that's a dickshit move. That's pretty much a giant f-you to crafters. I will sell aby gold box items to an NPC. Every time I BLU burn in aby I empty my inventory to only carry the gear needed to build lights and burn, I even leave my LS pearl in my mh. I've gotten about 500k off of one run (several dark rings) and all were NPC'd. I've done this several times, in the same 24hr period, with the same toon getting about 2mil and never even had a GM contact me about it.
So unless he sold in excess of 2mil to an NPC then I don't see how he got banned for this.
As for the guilty until proven innocent, I've heard innocent people say this when they felt the odds were stacked against them. Fortunately they had adequate representation.
After reading these posts I'm inclined to agree with several people that there's more to the story. I've GM'd someone that botted a claim from me that wasn't banned, and there's still fishbots out and about that I've seen in the same spot, days on end, various times, and still not banned.
NPCing a none Bazaarable object isn't the same, as you work to gain those items, where as playing the system and exploiting the AH economics (this is the part that SE doesn't like) is a move RMT's abused to control AH prices and make a quick Buck.
That said, they would also need to see you then not use the gil, or transfer this to numerous random people (this would be considered eveidence of selling the gil as there would be no reason for you to farm such volumnes and then give it away randomly).

Here agian he said him and a friend poped 15 adman's, at 200k each (at the time of the post) that's 3 mil in items, he take the reward of another 2m items making 5 mil in transfers in a single day.
Now why did he help friend? TH? did his friend have mage jobs only and he was a tank? If the later it can be assumed that he popped 15 adamn's in a single day.....this alone would appear pretty RMT like.

Lol, funny to see this post still going.
As for whats going on, I have moved to 14. I'm on goblin
server atm. Still same name.
As for the Ban. it's because I used too many C Card#'s in my time, (4 in the past 6 months, stuff happens.) and I guess thats bad. Putting in a unfair ban report dosent seem to do much.
And as for 15 pops of adam, my freind has 4 mules. those mules got login points,..we used them. It was 13 fails w/ 2 red drops, 1st didnt drop egg. After the 2nd dropped my freind, after me mentioning I wanted balsam staff but was 3 mil short, decided to be a FREIND and give it to me.
It happens. My bud Wevonsangre will pass up things just to let other ppl have stuff.

Nice to know that SE will ban people for "too many" CCs.
You should've used Ultimate Game Cards...I'll be damned if SE gets my CC numbers again.
Well it's kinda too late now. Good luck in 14 man ^^

I actually had a somewhat similar experience to this. My taru mule I had was linked to my cousin's SE account (Dont ask why. To this day he hasn't given me a sensible reason as to why he did that) along with his two accounts plus another account a friend of ours gave him cause he was quitting.
Well that friend ended up coming back for a short while and as you'd expect it was a gigantic mess where you essentially had 4 accounts belonging to three different people under the same SE account lol. So naturally when we all went to pay for each account, each using their own credit card, SE took note of that and banned all three CCs from being able to be used to pay for the accounts. The accounts themselves were not banned however and I just ended up paying for my taru mule every month via ultimate game cards.
Not sure why they banned your account for too many CC and yet they elected not to ban the accounts in my cousin's SE account for the same reason.

If I got banned from FFXI for no reason (or at least no GOOD reason), the last thing I would ever do is give Square Enix more of my money by playing another one of their games again.

This is exactly why I'm not playing FF14. The customer service will be just as delightful right?

Well, he is right about that it would be a contradiction if it weren't socially unacceptable to do what is so badly needed for real control of the idiots in this game and be violent.
It is the disallowance, by many, of such violence that wipes out the contradiction.
For example, anyone who knew of the Occupy movement knew that, by non-violence, they were sitting ducks.

Rightly or wrongly, that probably would at least qualify under some RMT-ish situation, because stolen CC numbers are often used for such purposes, and they have to keep looking until they find one that works.
15 min ago i was banned from game for no reason. i looked up account status and it's unuseable. So i get the email saying i've been involved in RMT activity and my acount is gone. WTF!
I have been playing for 8 yrs and have never once engaged in RMT activity. now i'm here panicking that all my stuff is poof, gone.
Is there anything i can do to resolve this, or am i just screwed?
If not then goodbye to all those on Bahamut. I had a great time w/ you all.
