Professors can be so damn confusing sometimes. I've never thought about putting footnotes in anything, then one day I turned in a paper to my professor, and he marked it down because I didn't have footnotes. Like really, footnotes are the difference between a good paper and a crappy one? The ***we have to do to graduate.

Thursdays aren't my nights. I always manage to spill something on myself (used to be a mixture of butter and lobster juice) that soaks through my uniform or just has a really strong scent that lingers forever.

It wasn't a spill this time, but grilling peppers seems to release their smell and it just saturates everything foreeeeeever.

For those that don't like it, it could be worse. Just play the SH HD Collection. God, the new voice acting should be killed with fire.



EDIT: I should clarify, Chie's old voice was vastly superior and I loved it to bits. The new voice just isn't that bad in comparison as far as I'm concerned.

Well, he was an English professor and I'm an English major, so I'm assuming that he must have thought I should know all that by now, but surprisingly I'm not one of those students who spends all his time looking through MLA and APA format books to make sure that I'm staying up to date with all the trends. I do enough to get by and I concentrate on the content of my work; not so hung up on how it's formatted.

But the dude told me straight up that I don't know how to write a collegiate paper. Meanwhile, he had no issue with my content or grammar. It just reminds me of all the nonsense we're going to have to go through when we start our respective careers.

Dolt 1: This paper is absolutely amazing. Truly, I haven't seen anything written this well.

Dolt 2: It doesn't have a page number in the header or footnotes. It's completely worthless.

Yah, my understanding (based on rumour) was that the villain chara was to be Gary Mitchell from Where No Man Has Gone Before (episode). They even have that one gal in the teaser with the same hairstyle as Elizabeth Dehner...but maybe that's a red-herring also, perhaps. ^_-

Some sort of licensing issues with some of the voice actors. I heard there were a couple changed unfortunately Chie was the greatest casualty in my mind.

Yeah, I've been reading the Memory Alpha entry for the film. Given the hints dropped about the comic chapters that "set up" the film and the fact that the villain and the chick you mentioned are both confirmed to be canon characters already, they're probably the ones you mentioned.

As someone who has never played any Silent Hill game, watching that video, it sounds like the HD version has much better voicework. The original one sounded uninspired, like the actors doing the work were bored or something.

least its not as bad as the original RE voice overs lol

If it wasn't for the fact it's ~2 hours of video, I'd have you watch the TwinpPerfect review for the HD Collection so you can see the impressively massive list of glitches that were still in the game months after release.

Honestly, the HD Collection was a *** abomination and only sullied what was wonderful in the Silent Hill series before Climax, Double Helix and Tom Hulett drove the franchise into a flaming ditch of mediocrity.
