Bring the Everything else section up above the XIV sections, so people are more likely to go post in them. This part of the forum should be more prominent and not shoved to the bottom, if there is a desire to get the forum to be more than just for XI and/or grow it some.
Maybe also rename and reorder them, arcade to video game talk at the top, tech support to PC and tech discussion or something, chatterbox to general chat or something like that.
Also maybe change the private server section to a new player section, where people can ask questions in a more newb friendly place and not be intimidated. A section similar to what xi reddit offers is good.
You are the one who start throwing toxicity over images, then have no shame talking "you shouldnt do the same".
Cut the crap.
No I didn't at all, I have no problem with AI pictures and didn't complain about it. I was complaining about people posting spam of nonsense like the person that posted a picture with text on it saying "I can post anything", not the ai artwork.
That image made many insanely good decisions on the use of space, which is generally the biggest weakness of AI art. If it's done by AI then we can say AI has surpassed humans.
The worst thing that I ever did to Godfry on this site was just:
1: I said FF16 didn't flop and I like Dmc battle system, which Godfry disagrees.
2: I said I don't care about type A/B in games, which Godfry did not like.
3: I said Assassin's Creed gameplay is repetitive, which Godfry disagrees.
4: I said TLOU 2 could have plot structure problems, which Godfry disagrees.
What else that's bad enough to trigger mood swings? It's just game nerd stuff. I honestly think I am meaner to Panta lol.
Speaking of game nerd stuff, I finally finished Fallout Tactics recently, after a long time playing. (Over 43hr, that's much longer than what I generally spent on one game.)
I know plenty of people enjoyed the non-linear structure and dialogue trees in Fallout 1&2, and hated FOT because it's different.
But I personally find combat focused linear approach in FOT more fun than FO1&2. I guess I just really want a Fallout themed combat focused game.
I really wish FOT could get a remake or sequel, because the battle system is so flawed and outdated. And yet the core concept of FOT is so charming, it's a shame that this title got buried in oblivion because of the flaws.
I also got into Fallout TRPG (2d20) due to being a FO fan, I think the trpg version did a good job making the game feel like FO.
Now I just need to watch the Fallout TV show on Amazon and play FO4 to complete my Fallout experience >.> I don't normally watch live action TV shows, but I'll make an exception for FO.
Edit: Oh wait, there is also Fallout boardgames. I'll have to find time to get a copy of them. Need...more... Fallout in life...
Fujito allows himself to be misquoted a lot, everyone is reporting they were thinking of closing XI in 2024 now and that's not what he said. He said the game was going to go into maintenance mode, and now it's back into being actively developed again.
Seen 4-5 articles and people baiting over it everywhere.
I went a month without drinking any coke, replaced it all with water
Saw no difference in my mood or sleep
Didnt lose any significant weight either over it either
Or im just built different
I think a lot comes down to how much you consume and when. I know people who only drink soda and mega sugar filled coffees. When they withdraw it's pretty nasty - cold sweats, headaches, foul mood for several days, etc but an overall improvement in sleep and how they feel after they get past it. My observation is that the weight loss is kinda limited though.
I posted before but I had pretty dramatic improvements in sleep and mood regulation, along with less inflammation/pain from my nerve issues (CTS). When I quit, it was a few days of feeling shitty though and felt almost like I had the flu. That said, I'm hyper sensitive to everything now - alcohol, sugar, etc. I can't even take CBD or cannabis products anymore because they cause me to have chest pain. So yea, YMMV, I'm built differently and have to be sensitive about what I consume or I feel it stronger than most. I'm a fragile flower.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
