Oh, another note on reprisal. The skill+ is an active effect, meaning it modifies your skill constantly even as the base value changes. Or to put it another way, the skill+ is not determined solely on cast, so there's no point in swapping in skill+ on cast in an attempt to net more skill.
I have a question that is semi-related to this discussion from over 5 years ago. It's about how Priwen affects Reprisal: I know Priwen must remain equipped while Reprisal is active to get the triple block rate, but does Priwen have to be equipped during the Reprisal cast to get it in the first place? Could you cast Reprisal with a different shield and then switch to Priwen after it's up to get the triple block rate, similar to how the skill+ adjusts as described above?
BG-Wiki says, "The reprisal enhancement is lost if Priwen is unequipped after casting," but I can't find any specific confirmation that you need Priwen equipped during the cast to get it in the first place. This is a pretty unimportant question because I use Duban and the recast times on Reprisal are pretty short anyway, but I'm curious and couldn't find the answer by Googling and reading through old threads like this one.

You will need all the enhancing gear unless your around Master Level 30+
You don't like the set
Good
Don't make it
Do you idiots do that when you eat food
Don't like it
Don't eat it
The main thing STFU
Imagine being so thin skinned as to freak out when anyone offers the slightest, polite, friendly criticism of your set. After posting the set on a public forum for all to see.
Sir, we use these forums to discuss FFXI, including giving each other constructive criticism and advice. If you don't like receiving feedback, or only enjoy positive feedback, you're in the wrong place. This is the internet.

Dear Draylo,
Ya got any from X-2? I always loved Payne.
Nope, there is barely much merch for FFX in figure form. I had some from the play arts kai line and that line is really bad if you ask me. They have exposed joints and just look like toys, the recent remakes of yuna and Tidus are nice but not that great. Which is a shame because the bring arts line for the FF7 stuff has been really good looking. SE just does not produce really good larger figures.
Like these are some of the nicer ones even though Yunas face isn't 100% there.
but then you get stuff like this
Like, the face is nice but the exposed joints in the elbows and hands and knees is so ugly to me.
It used to be ok because the price point was semi fair around 80 dollars or so. Now though they are charging almost hot toys level prices, their shin line being 200+ dollars.
Compared to something that is third party 1/6th scale and similar price (at release)
The girls have arrived, really big, not too much a fan of 1/4th but there's no other really for FFX
Nice! Are these from the official SE shop?
No they are third party. Its from a resin statue studio called "Solar studio" they are doing the entire FF lines in 1/4 statue scale. They are really big at that scale so I've only decided to do a few from 10, 8 and 9. Some of the face details are a little soft but the overall sculpt is really incredible. They are doing a massive Bahamut from 10 that looks really cool.

I am mastered, and have been for some time. I must simply have been misremembering how it worked. I could have sworn the JP +63 value was added to Cure Power, not to base Cure amount, but the math checks out when I do it that way, so I must have just been misremembering.

Poor testing conditions.

It doesn't track when a campaign starts, it notify when its created and are optionally when its getting close to the endtime. In this case that campaign was added 25/12/2025, so you should gotten a notification around then as long all permissions were aligned etc.

Asura.Hadroncollider said: »well... I dont think RDM "needs" Nyame Flanchard path B for WS sets.
The benefits of Nyame path A legs (on RDM) are in my opinion far higher than an extra 2-6k dmg on weaponskills you'll situationally use. 13 stp and 13% crit rate make easily up for the dmg you lose and add alot to solo fights/cdc. you also can reach a better hit build than with malignance armor, wich raises ws frequency and average overall dmg.
This is not true. You almost get nothing for WS frequency out of Nyame A legs and 13% critical hit rate on RDM is almost nothing too. Malignance legs TP and Nyame path B legs are higher DPS. Also Trust legs are better for TP anyway.
Malignance legs are also easier to setup, because they have enough haste to cap without belt or earring. well, I'm pretty sure it is true. so far I'm doing well. and its not just nyame legs path A, its also head and feet path A wich ends up beeing a 6-hit build (not a true one, but why would rdm need that). with a delay of 84.8 and 46% TA I throw a weaponskill after every 1-3 attack rounds. I did alot of testing on apex flys in crawlers nest and dps went up by 20% compared to malignance. Also... Malignance legs are worse than Nyame path A legs on EVERY SINGLE STAT (besides AGI and I doubt your claimed higher dps comes from that). It seems to me you dont really know what you are talking about or just claim things without testing. And Sworn Platemail/Gauntlets/Sabatons paired with Nyame Helm/Flanchard path A in TP set IS the highest overall damage output and fastest way to 1k TP, I calculated every combination including # hits to 1k TP. at 68%TA 26% more TP do more than another 12 TA. And I'm not talking about whats easyer to set up, I talk about maximum possible dmg output.

From what im looking at it already does what some PUP luas were doing, if pet TP = # swap to pet ws set. Which is still funky due to puppet sometimes delaying its' WS leaving you sitting there like a potato

Easy to have the same opinion as 99% of people that watched it. It's not an opinion at that point, just fact.
Nothing short of the plot of KOTOR2 being made into a movie with zero changes would make me want to watch another star wars thing again at this point.

There are no tools to do that.
https://github.com/atperry7/pup_gearswap for example.
Quote: Gearswap is all you need for that, you just need to swap the gear when TP is near 1k
You don't even need GS for that kind of manual swap, can just use a normal old macro with an in-game equipset or standard Windower gear set.
Similar to manually swapping in pet enmity+ gear before a voke/flash, which I do via a normal macro. But voke/flash are a lot more predictable on their timers, so it's easier to manage than getting WS gear in at the right time. Yeah, it's also possible to manually switch to pet WS gear by monitoring current Pet TP, but it's a lot less consistent and very easy to mistime.

Why? AFAIK, normal Gearswap doesn't properly handle swapping Pet WS gear in, so you're gonna have to use tools beyond that (which were still kinda janky last I checked, but I admit I'm not super current on that knowledge since it has been a while since I looked at it). I don't want to do that, and I'm sure a lot of other players don't automate to that level either.
There are no tools to do that. The gear needs to be equipped before the automaton does the WS since, unlike avatars, there is no window of time to respond to the packets. Gearswap is all you need for that, you just need to swap the gear when TP is near 1k

Is mog garden F'd with this update? Seeing weird stuff like an Earth Elemental above the Furrow and then the shiny object but not clickable etc. Just strange stuff.
Were you growing Revival Roots in the furrows? That's just what it looks like after it's grown. Click the furrow to harvest it.

A few years back I finally decided to see what all the fuss was about with the Mother series of video games.
I played Mother 1, then Earthbound. Both enraptured me quite thoroughly, in spite of their annoying scripted fights towards the end where certain bosses are set to be unkillable even if you 0 out their HP (Lookin at you R7048).
Anyway I got to Mother 3, which started out a bit silly then emotionally heavy. And idk exactly why, but I lost all interest and didn't play any further. I'm guessing Undertale is what sparked the interest? Nah. I mean I did play Undertale and enjoyed it (Battle Against a True Hero is a BOP), but it was more that I was working nights non-stop with a lot of work down time, and access to my laptop, so I could emulate RPGs really easily and fit them in between work.
Everyone on the internet has their *** out for Earthbound a ton, and I knew it was the 2nd one in a series, so I looked into the first one instead.
And I was glad I did. Both games were really enjoyable, but the first one touched my 'tism in all the right ways. The story scope being that Ninten's grandparents were incredible inventors who made alien contact and developed psychic powers while also becoming adoptive parents to Giygas is one of the better RPG stories I've experienced.
What made it so enjoyable was the nebulous and abstract things surrounding their PSI powers. Magicant existing beyond their deaths to assist their grandson was very interesting to me. I am asthmatic, so Ninten being asthmatic was endearing.
The game itself was both wacky and dark. Unlike even its sequel or any of its spiritual successors (indie games mimicking the artstyle) it had a truly oppressive atmosphere with an allure of mystery. Couple that with the love interest being a little blonde girl, my wife being blonde, and my wife seeming to always know what I'm thinkking... and idk, it just feels like the collective unconscious reached out and gave me the good touch.
The second game is similar in a lot of ways, but something about it having more scripted fights and leaning harder towards the whimsical and away from its darker aspects made it feel a little less impactful to me. Also, the final encounter revolving around placing your brains into robots and facing a faceless psychic soul terror version of Gigyas... It's a great spectacle I guess, but it lacks the real soul of the simpler encounter with the actual physical alien Giygas, where you defeat him in a similar manner by singing his adoptive parents' lullaby causing his mind and will to yield to love. I mean, I am all for Prayer beating an ultimate evil force. That is valuable too, as it acknowledges there is a greater force than just mankind or any exceptional individuals.
But it's pretty uncommon, especially nowadays, for villains to yield to any kind of love. And in this case it was parental love. Not a lot of stories touch on that for villains. I really can't think of a lotta stories where the villain decides to end their world domination plan and retreat, due to loving their parents.
It's classy and unique. I love it! (Though I still wish they'd let me beat R7048 with Teddy)

Laziest man alive: Anyone know the minimum distance to walk for chocobo digging? I know you [allegedly?] have to move after a successful dig to have another successful dig. Follow a goblin bounty hunter in qufim and have the water bird hit a macro over and over again
unironically, does /follow not get broken by dig like autorun does, because I will *totally* do this and afk for half an hour and come back and mount up and repeat [solely for laughs, mind you. daily fatigue is better when you're not out.] /dig breaks /follow also. You'll receive a message that follow is canceled upon digging.

I'd say the key stat is dt-. If you TP in 3/5 parts, you will have 3 or 6 less dt- wich is... not that great. Ideally you want to cap or be close to cap of dt- in your best TP set (wich pairs well the the extra +1 Phalanx you get from the set compared to oseem augments -.-). Also if you want to use it for enspell damage, you miss out on 75/150 dmg per corcea hit with composure up.
