Ok we went in 100% no buffs, had leaping/no MP forever and adds ;/ meep

BLU Feet +3 (Blue Magic Skill+12) COR Feet +3 (WSD+10% AGI+49 R.ACC+ R.ATK+) GEO Feet +3 (Pet: Regen+5) all I gotta say is: SEXY !!!!!!!!!!! Wouldn't really say Frog was "easy" before the "gravity trick" was developed last time.
Before that it required a very specific setup with pet jobs, mostly PUPs cycling Overdrive. That's how we did it on Asura before the Gravity thing at least. Thing could go easily wrong if your pups weren't equipped nicely enough and there wasn't a lot of space for errors. Still easier than other months I guess. They did away with gravity, he is now immune. So yes, I'm assuming it'll be regain rolls with /sam and doing mewing to keep it not so horrible. Maybe a rdm can land silence? But yes please post your fastest winning set up for VD.. So i may copy it and gain massive HM kthx ;D
Just gotta figure out what exactly triggers his ***-you move and work around that. Is it specific buffs, all buffs, that kind of info.

I quite like the thf feet. Not sure why people are saying they are not good.
Because you can get up to 6 TA on Herc with correct augs. Not sure how well the TA Damage will work, but generally speaking you want as much multi attack as you can get.
Well I don't have the ability to get herc boots so if these are obtainable, they'll be my bis option.
if these are obtainable to you herc boots should be a breeze

In not capped attack scenario relic is better, unless you got some stupid DM augm.

Last time, I did it with THF/SAMx2 COR/SMN PLD/WAR and 2 leeches. You can kite it pretty easily, just wait out it's cast then run in and do TA rudra's > TA rudra's while it's on cast cooldown. Mewing, kite until THFs have TP and mewing is back. Obviously you want to wait out chainspell.
Have not actually tried yet today, but no reason to assume this wouldn't still work. If they did increase the HP, you would probably need more rounds than before.. I believe 2-3 SCs did it last time. Still easier than other months I guess. You guys are making it more complicated than it should be lol. The only pet job required is smn for mew and /smn works too. We used erinys setup before gravity discovered: Tank thf x2 cor smn and such, thf just run in and ws with regain roll and smn do mew. Compare with other VD it was still one of the easier vol1 vd without gravity. Some ls mate already been triboxing vd 1hr after update. Not sure where you guys got that because here’s all the campaigns happening
