I went run cor geo VE, quenching did almost 5k on cor, very little on other 2.

Don't die to quenching hammer.

First run on VD used ranged autos and ranged dmg was incredibly terrible like about -99% dmg from the very start of the fight but melee seemed normal

Just did a run on D and ranged dmg seemed well still lower but maybe only like -50-75% but this time one of my autos was melee type.

So my thinking right now is they are trying to discouraged ranged strats... which is funny because hammer can still hit you when you are out of ranged attack forget ranged ws range. But that this anti ranged tech is greatly effected by difficulty

They mentioned getting rid of gravity so I'd imagine this leaves either A) doing whatever lame thing they want to prevent hammer B) old school tp denial only run in for ws C) use things that are super sturdy that don't need buffs to deal dmg.. ie automaton

Edit: yep tried VD again and ranged dmg super nerfed

So aside from a few notable exceptions these new feet aren't letting me drop my jaw so far.

There seems to be a model with Macc added to every feet item, and large amounts of attack+acc to most of them.
Uh... If you need a piece with those stats they might be interesting, but otherwise, I dunno, most seem kinda meh to me.
At least for my jobs.
Feel free to correct my impression, maybe I'm missing something


GEO => Gonna love this if anything for keeping luopan up, good alternative to augmented Telchine. ~10 more macc than Geomancy+3, but you lose the set bonus so not sure if worth it for enfeebling midcast.

RDM => Man I love these, winner for me.

MNK => Meh

BRD => Might have an use if you want large amounts of Acc/Att, almost as good as augmented telchine for precast. Dunno, not impressed.

DNC => Not sure how big of an impact that TP-20 is gonna have but I like it. Slightly better than Maxixi+3 (with set bonus) for landing Steps. Overall thumb up.

NIN => Worse than Hachiya+3 (with set bonus) for landing debuffs. Loads of attack but, dunno, not impressed.

SCH => Ehhh good for FC but they have the same value as the Unity boots. I dunno, unimpressed. You don't really "waste" strats often on stuff like Alacrity/Celerity.

PUP => Awesome for Automaton nuking. Thing is, automaton nuking sucks lol.

RUN => I don't see anybody using these in place of Turms. Incredibly high amounts of Attack, but meh.

SMN => Meeeeeh...



So I think it all boils down to how difficult it's gonna be to upgrade them.
If it's something like Omen or even harder/slower/more expensive, I don't think I'm gonna bother with many of these feet.
I'm basically interested with GEO and RDM onry atm. Maybe DNC too.


Do we know, from the datamine, which role the Omen job cards will have with these relic upgrades? I seem to get no role at all?

war sch geo + some trusts.

Tried again with only yoran trust, kept nm away from geo and sch and no quenching, he poped 5 adds at around 25%.

Another thing to consider about Dynamis Divergence is the "come as job X to get stuff for its upgrade".
Which is something I generally like as a concept, but it's gonna be a real nightmare for those of us who still play in old-style LSs that run events.

Those in charge of running the event are gonna need a good dose of painkillers for the inevitably incoming headaches...

Not all AF pieces were "insane".
There's a good amount of very meh pieces for AF+3 as well.
Some got saved when they introduced the set bonus or there would be more.

It's hard to compare AF, where we got all 5 slots to see, to Relic where we got a single one.

But yeah, a good amount of these feet seem to be kinda meh.
It's like, I dunno, a lot of pieces didn't get anything interesting new but "just" the basic model applied to every piece which includes Stats raise, Macc+ and Acc/att (or mab) for every item.

I guess it's no coincidence that the ones that look more interesting are usually those which received new/unique special stats.

Well, one thing is for sure;

These are so underwhelming, expect them to get altered with set bonuses, and probably additional stats since no one is going to care about any of them except COR. (and GEO).

They did the same with the omen gear. Released as iterated upgrades of the AF then set bonuses were added wit the Ou patch IIRC. so yeah I expect set bonuses when there is actually more than one piece of the set to equip.

RDM feet are awesome too! GEO are okay, DNC might be uhm okaysh.
I think it will boil down to how hard it's gonna be to upgrade these.
If it's gonna be like omen or harder, *** it for majority of these pieces.
If it's gonna be easier/quicker then why not, might as well get some sidegrade/mehgrade considering it a cherry on the cake of "participating in a new event that's actually fun" (at least for the first few weeks lol)

Also with 60hrs lockdown it's gonna take more time to make us feel burned out, compared to other events.

Just heads up, the new Volte mage set has zero MP+, so it may not be the best set you want to idle in.

Did VE solo on BLU, it died in 2 SC's, had to kill 5 adds.

RDM RDM AAHM AAEV and WHM NPCs. No AoE attack at all that dmged me but he absorbed all MP from everyone at some point and called 5 adds.

Adds need to be killed. Seems like an easy melee Zerg so far.
Avoid songs, bubbles and rolls - thats what street says atm.

Adds spawn after it does a certain WS, was never able to figure out any conditions for that WS last time (there might not even be one). Sometimes it'd be first, sometimes it'd never happen.

debuff bubbles don't cause quenching but last time it seemed like debuff bubbles all had no effect so...

I tried Mighty Strike zerging it like last time. Seems like they increased his DT a bit on higher difficulty. I came up short and died at 30%.

Guess I can't cheese it on D this time.

So we went in 99% unbuffed and had no adds - but hammmer.

I say 99% because we had AG/AM up, gonna avoid it now and see what happens. Had food on but no shadows/blinks/sambas.
