Eh, I'd rather just run vms for most things myself, but physical space is a constant issue.
Not to mention getting those old things working, how dusty they usually are, and a pain the cases can be. Don't get me wrong I love ancient technology too, but I got over having physical boxes when I got direct3d virtualization working well. im sure the actual output will be 1080p/4K to the TV when you have it docked. i dont mind a 720p screen on the tablet part as long as it means i dont have to pay $600 for the ***as a result of using a cheaper display
I might be going against the crowd when I say, I still might prefer an actual handheld device like PSVita or 3DS if I'm playing a game for said handheld device. If I play Pokemon Whatevercolor and I had to choose between 3DS and Switch, I'll most likely go with 3DS. Reason being, I don't want the entire plane looking on my tray-sized screen shouting advice. Nor do I want eyes to be locked on my Switch when I leave it behind to go to the bathroom.
Don't get me wrong, I'll still consider buying a Switch if I want to play AA or AAA games with unlimited portability. Wait, no region lock?

Gamefreak has already stated they have pokemon games in development for the Switch.
Nintendo has now also confirmed Amiibo Support. This console tease does nothing for me right now. It's just a hardware evolution of the Wii U without any software to showcase why I need it, despite the launch date being only 5 months away.
Blizzard has hinted at Hearthstone coming to the Switch now.
I'm pretty hyped right now.

Maybe a tiny hint of a new 3D Mario? That's it. 2013 called, they want their games back. Wii U had this exact same problem. It didn't launch with any games anyone actually wanted, and only had a bunch of ports of old 3rd party games, some of which were years old: ME3 and Arkham City come to mind. Nintendo needed to bring it home why you should want this thing. As of yet, it seems like BotW is the only reason anyone would want one, assuming they don't already have a Wii U. Only Wii U game was Breath of Wind. Maybe the NBA one but not sure on that.
The trailer showed off the new edition of Skyrim which ok not important but a new 3D Mario, New Mario Kart, and New Splatoon. That's actually a better starting lineup then the Wii U had.
