low impact is fine for fodder, but.....
Wouldn't even consider it in the Crucible.
got my 3rd legendary engram drop after 2 weeks of playing <.< really hate my bad luck.
2 have been blues, the purple was for hunter. I have only had 3 as well, none of them have amounted to anything. Did you buy anything from the Agent of Nine? He was selling some nice gear this weekend, leveled me up to 25.

wtf is up with the weekly strike on this game? says lvl22, but holy ***it's gotta be 26. it's ridiculous. anyway, I made 27 with a ***pile of luck from a purple engram, but can't beat the lvl 26 deal for my exotic bounty cause my buddies are only 25 & we got squished like mosquitoes. it was lame.
I still like the game even after it made me kill 200 or so people in the crucible with void damage.

You sometimes get materials for completing it and then you get one for picking up reward from post office.

You also get from the high level Strike missions on the playlist I believe. I got 3-4 off of a titan helmet I received from a purple engram.

Do you have a good strategy down? I can give you ours, if you like. We were mostly Lv27 with one Lv28 at the time. My luck is finally turning around, at least for a few hours today.
I just got 6 legendary engrams to drop in the last 2 hours, one of them being an exotic rocket launcher named TRUTH.  Upgrades Soft Launch: "Less recoil. Penalty to range." Hard Launch: "More range and impact. Increased recoil." Warlord Veniers: "More range and impact. Increased recoil." Grenades & Horseshoes: "Rockets from this weapon will detonate early based on proximity to targets." Heavy Warhead: "This warhead considerably improves impact, but fewer can be carried in reserve." Fieldwire Fragments: "Charged fieldwire shrapnel increases impact." Colony Warhead: "These small warheads have swarm intelligence, allowing you to carry more in reserve and enhance impact." Prototype Trueseeker: "Rounds fired from this weapon seek their target aggressively."
