I had to use vanguard marks to get past 24, was the only real way for me to.
got to lv. 19 last night. Hope to finish the story and get some decent gear tonight =)

You're correct, but there are also other ways to obtain Thorn. Got Monte Carlo from a Legendary Engram an hour or so a go, can also be obtained from a direct drop from Dust Palace clear rewards, similar to Thorn. http://www.destinypedia.com/Thorn -Charlemage's Vault is a hidden location in the Dust Palace, a chest will be in there with a chance to obtain Thorn. Thorn can also be obtained from the mission clear aswell though, saw it myself. Incidentally, Monte Carlo is pretty bad. My Shadow Price, which is a Legendary Autorifle, is quite superior. That's a shame, I was quite happy....for a few minutes. daily stuff anyone on ps4? Q_Q

The Thorn is available to all. Anyone wanna team up for weekly strike on the moon? Lvl 24 warlock ps4 zellcarter Is the name.
 I want that sniper rifle. Cloaked while zoomed in and radar while zoomed in is the cheapest setup ever.

Finally got my second legendary (no exotic yet ;;) and it was the same bloody titan helm I got from my FIRST legendary enrgram (such troll, much anger)
