I think you just subliminally convinced me that oppression is delicious.

At least we have one matter cleared up.

Quote:
White House press secretary Josh Earnest began his daily press briefing with what sounded like a sober announcement. He said he wanted to clear up something from President Obama's much-talked-about news conference on Thursday.

Would he be disclosing the White House's "strategy" for combatting the Islamic State in Syria that Obama said he didn't "yet" have?

Nope, he just wanted to joke about that unsightly tan suit.

"The president stands squarely behind the decision he made yesterday to wear his summer suit," Earnest said to laughs.

inb4 whistleblower is a racist.

You have to have some evidence of misfeasance to be a whistleblower. She's making claims as to what she believes someone else believes. IT's not much different than D'Souza's ramblings about Obama.

It seems pretty obviously written by the person it's claiming to be quoting. It's borderline libelous.

I did a little research on the organizations that the contributor uses as "credentials" and they're almost exclusively rightist lobbies and thinktanks. She's incredulous at best.

I always confuse the Examiner with the Blaze. But I did stumble upon this article in the Strange News category.

Quote:
Two Georgia siblings were arrested in Effingham County and have been charged with incest after admitting to having sex three times. The NY Daily News reported on Aug. 29, 2014, that they had sex three times in a tractor-trailer parked outside of a church, and they had sex after watching "The Notebook" three times together.

20-year-old Christopher Buckner and her brother, 25-year-old Timothy Savoy, were walking down Highway 30 in Effingham County around 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning. The police stopped them after someone in the community called 911 to report a possible prowler.

It took a while as Savoy originally just said he was taking the woman home, but the police soon learned they were brother and sister. That was when more information came out that the two had just had sex in the tractor trailer that was parked outside the Countryside Baptist Church.

Eventually, the siblings decided to admit to everything, including the incest. They said that the sex happened after they watched the romantic film "The Notebook" starring Ryan Gosling. It appears they watched the movie three times and it apparently got them in a loving type of mood.

The Huffington Post reported that the odd couple were arrested and charged with incest, prowling, and aggravated sodomy.

There is no word on Buckner, but records show Savoy is still being held on $13,400 bond.

Best comment on the Huffing Post version:

"Oh for crying out loud! At this point they are consenting adults and the police have no business in their sexcapades!"

If you have silver VW Jetta in CT, they're on to you!

Quote:
Authorities in Connecticut on Friday were investigating a possible threat against President Barack Obama, local media reported.

The U.S. Secret Service, which is responsible for presidential security, issued a statement saying, "Information has been received by law enforcement regarding a potentially suspicious person and vehicle. We are working with our local law enforcement partners to determine the validity of the information provided."

The Hartford Courant said state police were searching for a man who allegedly had made a threat against Obama and was driving a silver Volkswagen Jetta.

Obama was scheduled to be in Rhode Island on Friday night for a Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee fundraiser.

No further details were immediately available.
