Polls lol Polls come out every day and fluctuate. The only thing that matters is the actual primary vote.
Sander's did well, he would have done better had he stuck to his moderate gun stance...but we all knew that wasn't going to happen. He was very passionate on stage, moreso than Clinton. Her delivery was just too perfect, too mono-tone, and too rehearsed. I think both leading candidates did well and had their faults tonight.

Which Americans? The majority that see her as dishonest, or the ones who will only vote for her because they're Democrats and they want to see a Democrat win?

That's good to hear. I was concerned that my candidate that was polling at 1% wasn't doing well, but I'm sure glad to know that polls don't mean anything! I should buy some plane tickets ahead of time for their inauguration.

I did not watch as I valued keeping my dinner in my stomach. However if it had more closely resembled a steel cage match instead of a frendly game of grabass, I would have viewed it.

It is supposed to be a good opportunity for lesser known candidates that do NOT have a billion dollars in their campaign war chests to present themselves to the American voters fairly and with about equal time. The debates are why we have President Obama and not President Clinton. The Clinton News Network did their best last night to make sure that does not happen again.

Exactly. I'm sick of hearing about how polls don't mean anything. People like their statements black and white, but the reality is that they're very useful for gauging the current political environment. The methodology on a lot of them needs work and there is obviously variation and bias, but saying they're useless is just stupid.

Except for Chaffee, good god he is an embarrassment to elected officials everywhere. He was entirely on the wrong stage last night. I wouldn't trust him to run a kindergarten class.

The role of O'Malley and Chaffee is to make it appear that this is not a coronation. They were so pathetic they destroyed that illusion.

Bernie Sanders is a clown in appearance, speech, body language and policy. In his Presidency he is promising to increase spending by over 18 trillion dollars on all of his free stuff. He looks like a crazy old man shouting and literally spitting why he rants.

Ehhh...I wouldn't call it an "attack". That might be over-exaggerating. Sanders and O'Malley were a bit critical of Clinton when the subject of Syria/Putin's aggression came around the bend. Sanders, Clinton and O'Malley were all pretty cordial to each other in comparison to the GOP debate. I could see Littlefinger-Carcetti as a running mate.
Webb's whining over time allotted at every turn was off-putting.
Clinton actually came off less robotic than usual, which was somewhat refreshing.

I think we can both agree that the media has their hands in the "coronation" process, but there were times in which I think the responses to the questions posed toward Hillary's service as Secretary of State were cut short to maybe(?) save face.
Either way, we've been following Gary Johnson (L) and Martin O'Malley, though neither are likely contenders. Just fed up with all of it at this point. Our votes are throw-aways in this state anyway. May as well stick to principle.

I might vote for Trump. He isn't a horrendous candidate as the media paints him out to me. He's a smart businessman and he's very confident. I don't agree with his immigration policies, and certainly his racist remarks against Mexicans. However, I much rather have Trump in office than someone who wants to tax me 60% to become the next Denmark.
That's trump (and maybe Cruz). Marco Rubio! I wish he was doing better in the GOP polls I would soo vote for him. He's a great candidate especially for his age. a Trump-Rubio ticket would be one to give the Democrats a huge headache.

Outside of Ross Perot's abortive 1992 run we have had a few third parties that actually got somewhere.
The Anti-Masonic Party which launched 1n 1828 and petered out in the 1830s. And the Native American Party, usually refered to as the Know Nothing party. It started up in the 1840s and lasted into the late 1850s.
And today we have a quite powerful organization dedicated to preventing the rise of a third party candidate, namely the Commission on Presidential Debates.
