That plan has been between me and my best amiga of twenty-two years. We have failed to make good on that one. It sounds good. It would involve double-fisting and downing a bunch of the vendors' shitty margaritas there for liquid courage and some pliers. In reality, it would just be mass chaos. Birds are good to go, but I'm not sure how many bunny, iguana, sugar glider and misc. critter wranglers it would take to corral all the animals after we would inevitably be caught. There's a lot of animals out there. EDIT: Alas, a younger person's game.

I actually wonder if it has happened there ever. Considering how sketchy some of the wears are (aside from the origins of the exotic animals, there are electronics and power tools that were probably stolen), I wonder what the worst that would happen is. I'll wager a slap on the wrist and a, "You are persona non grata and perma-banned from Traders' Village!"
There's shabby-chic, craftsy crap and sports memorabilia, but the only real draw, IMO, is the cooking supplies straight from Mexico (cast iron, real tortilla presses and mortars and pestles).
