There is really no reason to be proud of the nation you're from BECAUSE it's the nation you're from. If you were born somewhere else you'd be proud of that place instead. I realize I'm in an extreme minority here, because so many people root for the football/baseball/whatever -team of their home city also BECAUSE it's their home city.  ^Where my heart will always be, regardless of whether I'm in the US or in the middle of Sri Lanka. I always thought Texas had the best state flag out of all the states I've lived in. Arizonas is pretty nice too.
