It is a bit of a sensitive topic for some, Das. Most of us don't like being associated with people into bestiality IRL; it's a bad implication that a few bad apples gave the rest of the fandom. Just like the couple on Tyra Banks/the one CSI episode gave everyone the idea that furries are just people who have sex in animal suits.
The majority just hates being associated with those sort of things.

I admire the works of the furry, scale-y, and feathered variety. Though not sure if i would wear a fur suit then again got no funds even if I wanted to. I got friends that are full blown furries they had the luck to go to the various fur based conventions AC I am pretty sure being one of them.
