Oracle's Robe, or Weskit?
idk which to use for nuking ._.
I personally say HQ weskit.
But, let someone that runs numbers *cough*Dasva*cough* tell you. i'm considering buying the hq weskit, but i'm not sure if i want to save money or spend it atm. D:
Most of the BLM that go running around use one of three pieces: Morrigan's Robe, Weskit, or ACP Body. TBH I've never seen a parse between the Oracle's Robe and the Genie Weskit, but I would put my money on the Weskit.
On another note, I've never seen a parse between the ACP Body and the Oracle's Robe either. If someone can produce numbers, that would be nice. P.S. augment your genie with INT+ and end the debate :D i'm like 0/30 on augmenting a nq with int +.. i don't see it happening to a genie ._.
Depends on a lot of factors.
Oracle's is a great all-in-1 piece, you have hMP, m.acc (so can be used for darkmagic as well as nukes) and a decent amount of MAB. And some HP/MP. It will be as 'accurate' as an HQ weskit, but give the damage of an NQ so in terms of damage it will be something like: Morrigan's > HQ weskit > ACP > NQ Weskit = Oracle's If you have the space and want the best for every situation then HQ weskit. Lots of +divine skill /facepalm. As far as augmenting genie lol gl with that. However 3int on a NQ beats HQ on any spell. 2 will win on T4. 6 is enough to beat morrigans in terms of dmg and utterly slaughter it in terms of macc. Also morgana's is a fair amount of dmg in those situations you can afford to take the -8macc hit. I've augmented about 30 weskits, and the best I've gotten so far is INT +2. If you don't want to buy a genie, keep augmenting NQ weskits until you get INT +2/3 (obviously more INT is better if you can get it). Weskits NPC for around 10k, so it's not like you're losing a lot of gil per augment attempt.
i know how you feel on the weskits, although i have only gotten elemental resistance or random resists on mine.. it's getting lame

+5 VIT on my weskit, yeah!! I keep meaning to try again but never get round to it..
I've had so many vit str and dex weskits I think SE just doesn't want me to be a mage or something.

I saw a Genie Weskit with INT+6 on one of the first days of FoV NMs. I was like "Oh, maybe it's not going to be so bad after all!" Then I went to augment my Death Scythe +1 >.>

Same results, it's based on the item you trade in, not the FoV you do. Same goes for any lower level item, like if you want to augment lv51 staves, no need to do VoS, just go to altepa, works fine. Less tabs wasted. this weskit talk makes me sad
the onry good thing ive gotten is MAB+1 on panther mask for Primal Rend /sulk
