It would be cool if more than just a ring slot
1 of every accessory type would be dope

But they like to do here are rings

My average when I setup PUGs is something like that, yeah.

When I go with friends it took me ~25 mins for Apollyon, like 40ish for Temenos.
Apollyon is usually more PUG friendly if you ask me, the only real "danger" is people aggroing turtles in NE and not knowing how to deal with them.
In Temenos instead people can make huge trains, aggro Grahs randomly and the most annoying parts are people aggroing White pixies on East tower 6 (unless you have Entomb/Break you can't really deal with them) and getting lost on floor 2-3-4 in Central because they refuse to follow you.

In my small experience setting up PUGs forcing everyone to go /DNC for Sneak/invi, at the small cost of some irrelevant DPS loss, results in much smoother runs.
I always make sure to have at least a form of Break because unavoidably someone ends up *** up and aggroes the white pixies on East Floor 6.


I have been extremely casual with Limbus. My Points cap is like ~90k on each Temenos and Apollyon, so can't really say I've been hardcore about opening those chests, eh.

The way to make PUGs work is to go as BRD/SCH puller and make everyone wait for AoE sneak invis each floor. Or go SCH or RDM/SCH or something to hand hold. Only one floor in Temenos is really dumb, which I think they should fix.

Well it's not about figuring things out but listening and paying attention... still would rather it wasn't so one person could annoy 5 others but w/e.

I wholeheartedly agree with the statement in general, and I also agree with not dumbing content down too much, again in general.

At the same time though I'm not sure that single floor serves any purpose at all. Does it make Limbus less boring? More challenging? More interesting? Or is it just nuisance with no real purpose other than "oh ***, we devs didn't think about that when we placed the mobs!"
Because I'm somehow confident that's what happened, not that they did it on purpose to offer a single more annoying floor.

So, yeah, let's not turn FFXI into FFXIV but at the same time I see nothing wrong with fixing some things that serve no real purpose and weren't even carefully planned by devs to begin with.

gets lost in Sheol, aggros something and disables the teleporters
Doesnt understand Matamata in Delve

Since the nms are apparently going to be free for all to participate like the domain invasion wyrms or besieged, I wonder if they'll add some kind of alert system like those have to let people know the nms are up.

I noticed when I fill the bar till KI drops and then stay to fill the bar a second time cause of multi links the second time I only get credit for half the amount of points that I got the first time I filled the bar.

Is there something I need to do or a certain time that needs to pass till I get more points again?

For the first full bar in temenos I only got 170 points, for the second 85. In apollyon it was more iirc, around 250 or 300 I believe. probably cause it has less floors?

Can someone remind me what the annoying floor in Temenos is? Is it the one with the white pixies that cant be slept or lullabied but are easily avoided via sneak and invisible (and maybe keeping HP white, I've seen some reports of blood aggro)?

Central 4 has Ghrah in the main path. BUT, if you just go down the little ramps and don't rush it you can easily avoid them.

Other than that it has to be pixies?

Also people getting lost is ridiculous. Every section is a big U, sure central zones have more turns but the left and right sides are just mirrors of each other.

Think the blood aggro is a legend.
They might aggro spellcasting maybe, since I seem to recall technically they are elementals?

It's eastern tower floor 6 btw. Very small floor.

Not ridiculous. It's easy to say this if you've been playing since original Limbus and you remember the maps or have done then enough times to know the routes. For players who didn't experience original Limbus, Temenos is pretty annoyingly designed, even if it's the same "shape" (the dead ends and empty rooms does get confusing, even if your familiar with the maps). The same is true of Sortie off you've never done vagary. You can expect players unfamiliar the first few runs to get lost it confused because all of the maps look exactly the same but are rotated and challenging to maneuver. The difference with Apollyon is you can see the portal on every floor and the maps are very linear.

All of this is intentional design and repurposing these maps, but the good thing is the more you do these events, the easier they'll be. Temenos makes sense that it's more annoying to traverse, because relic is stronger than artifact gear, so naturally it should be harder to clear Temenos maps than Apollyon maps

Haven't done it for a while but I think it is this. True sight grhah that lead into unsleepable (for BRD) pixies

Also one floor of Apollyon is 99x more annoying than others, where you can aggro one imp then have 30 demons and tauri and imp on you by the time you get to the porter

It casted a quick spell: run back to the entrance, where the Unseelies are likely still dead. Deal with Ghrah there.
It casted a long spell: just keep running and port up. You'll be out of range by the time the spell has finished casting.

The pixies are easily controllable - both varieties are easily entomb'd/break'd. The issue is they do the full dispel move and they also will wake the others up/remove their petrification? (this i may be trippin on but pretty sure they do an AoE status heal)


There's one floor that's just pixies+unseelies and Ghrah. No issue w aggro there, because the Ghrah are on the bottom level and the floor (as stated) is just a tiny U shape.

on that floor, I usually end up just camping on the bottom by the exit porter and just blasting ghrahs and then making a mad dash for the exit porter after I get the temp item.

I think the unseelies can be lullaby'd and the regular pixies can be dream flower'd but idk i usually just entomb and run for it

I don't know about the white ones but the blue pixies at least partially resist entomb quite frequently (shorter duration).

Yes, they have shorter duration entomb and occasional resists even, maybe, but they can be lullabied or sheepsonged no problem.
I think they tend to resist Dream Flower iir.
