It's not really boobs as such, it's a developer pandering to an audience of customers buying expensive products. That does not necessarily have to be sexy fan service, it could be pandering with a turn based game. BG3 pandered hard to their audience, in lots of different ways.
Most western developers refuse to pander to the audience and instead give them what they think they should have, this behavior is being widely rejected imo.
The top 5 games in that list are all very well-received in the gaming community though. The last of us part 1, persona 4/5 and Detroit become human are also well-received despite not on top 5.
Saying dev of those games on the list don't care about what customers want is just wild. Everywhere I go people praise those titles as very great games, if not the best in their respective genre. Persona 5 is often considered one of the best jrpg and Detroit become human is considered one of the best narrative game even today.
I don't understand all the "let's compare concurrent player count and bash whoever lost" mindset tbh. Comparing player count only has a meaning if the target audience are the same size. For different games with different target audience, there is no point to compare.
Just because one game sells better, doesn't mean those that sells less are ditching their customers. Otherwise they wouldn't receive very positive reviews in the community.
