Thankfully, even "new" players just starting out with zero gil can get good equipment still via Rare/Ex stuff. Domain Invasion and Ambuscade gear/weapons can get you to a solid generic base i119 and then you would need to build off of that to customize for your primary job function. If they don't fall into the trap of being slaves to the white/blue/yellow boarders on equipment, they can also have near best-in-slot without it costing an arm and a leg.
These exploits make me sad in a few ways.
1. The people exploiting know they can get away with it due to how medal bans went. All they need to do is offload money/items off of the "offending exploiting" account and they are 100% in the clear (as far as what I saw reported).
2. It's sad how over this game SquareEnix is.
3. We probably havn't even seen exploiting's final form as even when this is patched or whatever, someone else is probably either going to find a new exploit or already knows of an exploit and is more stealthy than the HEY GUYS LOOK AT THE 40 TIER 5 CRAFTS I HAVE IN BAZAARz0rz!!11!1
4. The same people botting shield-making items are still at it to this day and it seems always will be as SE just cares about their subscription fee at this point. So pathetic on SE's part. If anything, they should ban the people so they are forced to buy new accounts, but it's all about that bottom line I guess.
