Even if we just compare obama and trump... obama had far more obstruction from republicans than trump had with democrats. Its not even a contest. Republicans managed to claim he was a "lame duck president" with over a full year left in his presidency and not even call his supreme court nomination for a vote. Trump inherited an already booming economy, and did the one thing you pretty much need to try really hard as a president to accomplish; Directly affected the economy during his presidency. By *** it up by ripping up trade deals and getting into economy wars with china, which were not to our favor, directly hurting his base supporters more than anyone else.
