Mentally ill in Russia: you cannot drive

Only people I hate is when they spread idiotic viewpoints and lies and call it "Truth and Justice." Even worse when they manage to destroy and silence any opposing viewpoint and counterargument as they come up.
All that does is bring about more idiotic viewpoints and affect the overall knowledge of society (downward). We are trying to advance as a society, not regress back to the Middle Ages! Fascism!

Not off the top of my head, I only recently started posting here.
Enlighten me, please, unless it'd cause a major shitstorm.
Hope it's me, seems I bunched a few panties. What's ironic though, is that my posts were deleted, but not the people quoting me. So, yeah. It's not you, you aren't an *** in my eyes.

Suicide due to lack of acceptance (both by society and the individual) can be considered a mental health issue.

Serious note: That is exactly what he wants us to regress back to. A Monarchy basically.

Canada is technically a socialist country, in the manner that we provide necessary and life-saving procedures to those that can't afford private health care.
And we do have public and private health care, so it's really a two-tier system.

Under the DSM-V definition, basically everyone has a mental disorder. The definition needs to be clarified, because that is too inclusive.

I think that the mental health system should have a scale of craziness based by Lordgrim.
Cause when you get to be Lordgrim crazy, you should be put into a padded room and taken care of by doctors and medicine.
I am more than willing to pay my share of tax dollars for that type of a system and get more asylums back in order.

That's not a bait, that's an observation using a well known crazy poster to make a point.

How do these people still get elected in this age? Mind blowing ignorance.
Because Russia doesn't do elections. They just trade back and forth the same people while pretending the people had some say in it.

That's not a bait, that's an observation using a well known crazy poster to make a point. It's only ok do to that for certain posters (take a look at the first page).
EDIT: I would say you, Altimaomega, and myself would be on that list off the top of my head. I'm sure there's a few others too.

Isn't that the guy who's always telling people to find God?
By Bloodrose 2015-01-10 10:52:21
No, he's the guy who's always telling people about his version of Truth and Justice, and silences anyone who disagrees.

It's hard work shouting in the echo chamber.

It is absolutely baiting and there's absolutely no need for it.

..I think I need to find that thread then.
/un-derails
Someone said that according to the DSM-V everyone has a mental disorder. Anything can be interpreted as a disorder should you look hard enough. Psychology as a science really isn't. Most people could get a diagnosis merely by lying their *** off (which, I suppose, could be considered a different disorder...).
Anything that relies on the subjective opinions of a human being is going to be inherently flawed. What's normal to me may not be normal to you, or normal to that psych sitting over there with a pencil in his mouth mumbling to himself while he doodles Garfield on that notepad.
I guess my point is that I think that precedents like this suck, because people will get screwed by idiots?

Being the leader of Russia should come with an inherent mental illness evaluation.

No, it seriously won't expand. You linked to a thumbnail.
In fact, you must be trolling. I just pulled up the page you grabbed it from and it is thumbnail-sized there, too. There is no larger version. Ctrl+ just makes it a larger blurry image too. I'm very aware, but it should still be readable at 1-2x, then again it could just be the bear's blind.

I'm shocked we even care, Russia is Russia, leave them to destroy themselves.
Russia says drivers must not have 'sex disorders'
Quote: Russia has listed transsexual and transgender people among those who will no longer qualify for driving licences.
Fetishism, exhibitionism and voyeurism are also included as "mental disorders" now barring people from driving.
The government says it is tightening medical controls for drivers because Russia has too many road accidents.
"Pathological" gambling and compulsive stealing are also on the list. Russian psychiatrists and human rights lawyers have condemned the move.
The announcement follows international complaints about Russian harassment of gay-rights activists.
New Russian Regulation Says Transgender People Unfit to Drive
Quote: Transgender people may no longer be allowed to drive cars in Russia under new road safety regulations signed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
A decree published on the government website earlier this month lists an array of health conditions that can disqualify someone from getting behind the wheel, among them "personality and behavioral disorders" listed in the World Health Organization's classification of diseases.
The sections in question — F60 to F69 — name transsexualism and transvestism, along with other "disorders of sexual preference," such as fetishism and voyeurism. "Disorders associated with sexual development and orientation" are also listed.
The new road safety rules are "aimed at reducing the death rate from traffic incidents" in the country, a government note accompanying the decree said. It did not specify how being genderqueer could limit a person's ability to drive safely.
The Association of Russian Lawyers for Human Rights lambasted the new rules as violations of the Russian Constitution, saying in an online statement that the decree deprives "all transgender people, bigender, asexuals, transvestites, cross-dressers [and] people who need a sex reassignment" of the right to drive.
