Staley: That problem was only happening when I directly replaced Escha - Ru'Aun with normal Ru'Aun dats. The mod listed is just a recoloration of Escha, so there's no risk of that problem again.

Kyogi: Making new models is actually a lot of work since I have to redraw them from scratch. Worse, the program I normally use, VRS, doesn't seem to work for me anymore for some reason. If anything, I'd want to finish my Qurupeco Chopper first anyway.

Ah ok then, np, thought it was worth a shot thanks for the reply.

Can do. Removing them is easy, the hard part is adjusting it so he doesn't have gaping holes in his shoulder blades. Might be delayed to finish because I have some work stuff that is taking priority.

edit: Just as expected, the wings were easy to remove. Yet, for some reason, adjusting the model to cover the holes in Metasequoia is, for some reason, causing problems.

edit edit: Seems to be the version of Metasequoia I'm using, I'll have to dig up my older version on another computer

Paul, why not swap him to the original model and lock the animations to be the winged version?
Im sure thats possible right?

Nay pilgrim, the original model is completely different in both style and function.

If you switched them, he'd literally just stand there (and probably glitch when he WSs) because the old one is only meant for cutscenes.

It's really not a problem though, I just have to fire up that other computer and get that version of Metasequoia when I have a chance.

What i meant was to port the animations over to him, see if that will work better. Means you don't have to fix the Model.

Porting animations between things with different skeletons is something I can't really do without VRS. Also, I don't usually mess with model animations because it's complex. Besides, this Selh'teus thing is nearly finished. If I was gonna do animation and model stuff combined, I'd make a functional Arciela II head for Hume F.

I would so love this, I'd even settle for removing them completely they typically destroy my fps. Anyone know what the dats for bubbles are?

Creating visual effects (spell animations, etc) is something I'm not sure we (the dat modding community) have ever had the ability to do. Closest suitable dat would be the aoe target circle, which I've been looking into as a low graphic intensity alternative.

Well, I remember a custom katana dat someone made (which I think I still have) that had a custom animation whenever it hit (little bits of darkness flying off it or something), but that's the only "animation from scratch" type of custom dat I've ever seen. Anything else with animations was just editing existing ones (like making cure spells different colors or what have you).

Yeah, that's a little different since there exists some motions and stuff that can be tinkered with. I'm still trying to find the file that does the aoe circle.

Bit of an update on that look for that tarutaru dat. I believe it's an old Jamesy dat, However, Many of his dats have been lost. I've found a few but the images for them are not loading. I will spend the next few hours going through his hair dats. But i'm very sure that is an old Jamsey tarutaru dat.
