Or, we can just accept what we already know and move on. Bush Jr. and Obama are both jokes. Case closed. He's talking about the popularity of false equivalence. One bad thing = another bad thing only if you're mentally lacking. Not all errors are created equal and they shouldn't be viewed as such by default.
You make a valid point. Didn't Bush Jr. have a higher approval rating at this point of his presidency? How dare we compare Obama to him.

So in summary, Obama had a law license but wasn't a lawyer, was granted professor status by an accredited institution but wasn't a professor, was not qualified to be President despite being President for 4 years, and spawned the concept of partisanship even before he was elected. Damn, this guy is bad news.
Shh, Amandarius is trying to move on from his latest embarrassment of lies, and is now, of all things, trying to paint Bush Jr as some kind of victim.
Personal troll go sleep it off.

Bush actually did this strange thing called "working with Congress." He didn't just demonize then for not doing 100% of what he wanted.

And you know how loosely you are using the term Professor. And you also know how horrible the left began savaging Bush after 2002 midterms which permanently left bad blood between both sides of the political spectrum. You also know that president Obama has been by far the worst and least effective leader in American history. He cam in on the illusion and promise of being the next Abraham Lincoln. He leaves making Jimmy Carter look worthy of Mount Rushmore.
All wrong. Anything else?

Says the site troll. Keep making stuff up about why the left didn't endorse Bush's plan to fight a war without paying for it, isn't he supposed to represent the party of fiscal responsibility? Oh wait, then the next year came, and he invaded Iraq for no reason.

No we have already gotten to the meat of the issue. And it has been conceded by everyone that Obama's law career that was used as his qualifications for President was an astounding one court room appearance before surrendering his law license for reasons unknown. I'll concede all of that. What an awesome resume.

He didn't surrender it, he changed the classification to inactive and then to retired.
That's not the same thing as surrendering your license.

The Senate authorized the Iraq war; yet you somehow want to absolve the Democrats that overwhelmingly voted to authorize it in 2002.

Not really, they are pretty much the exact same, January of year 6, 43%. Bush's kept diving into the 30s and eventually the 20's. The country was over the war in Iraq which can now be labeled a waste of time and money.

Americans are fickle. The country overwhelming supported going to Iraq. You do not have that luxury as President though, like a Senator or a voter, once you commit to war to just leave because it is tough, that's surrendering and does irreparable damage far beyond losing one conflict.

What allegation. The evidence of his prestigious law career was provided by Sylow. I have yet to see anyone provide why he surrendered his law degree other than their own personal belief; save money on insurance etc.
His entire education and professional career is an absolute joke; and as I stated earlier and no one has yet to rebuff, he had zero qualifications to be President and is the least qualified in history.

Welp, seeing as how Obama's approval rating is between 39 and 42 in almost every poll (save one outlier), it would appear that I'm correct. If my math classes taught me anything, it's that all numbers between 39 and 42 are below 43. Besides, I'm not defending Bush. It was more a shot at Pleebo's poorly chosen response to my previous comment.

It does not say any reason why he surrounded his law license in that source.

Seems like you like to throw the word "overwhelming" around, you probably have "loose" definitions of it too. The Senate vote amongst Dems was split, there was a filibuster attempt, and 21 Dems voted against the resolution, refusing to believe Saddam actually had WMDs. 3 years later, the country realized the Dems were right, and Bush had lied about everything in Iraq.

You are never going to see evidence of him surrendering his law license because he never did. Funny how that works. Your other opinions are meaningless and based on no facts.

Note the difference between Michelle Obama's status and Barack Obama's status there and thank you for making another point for me.
Michelle Obama: Voluntarily inactive and not authorized to practice law
Barack Obama: Voluntarily retired and not authorized to practice law

Arguing approval ratings like they mean anything beyond reelection capability or pundit chitchat isn't a shot. It's flailing. You know what I was talking about.
[+]
I guess we should talk about this:
http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/09/politics/chris-christie-bridge-primer/index.html?hpt=hp_t1
Aside from the obvious, which is that this kind of political payback is disgusting and wrong, I think that this scandal damages Chris Christie's 2016 chances. Over the next few days and weeks we should get a clearer picture of his actual involvement, so maybe I'm off-base and he'll escape unscathed.
Anyone else got thoughts on this whole debacle?
