The Orion gloves need to be equipped when you take the shot, not when the JA is hit.

Whats the best of the best gear sets for anni rng right now? Is presto, mekki, plasm dagger, or ah axe? Anyone with a spreadsheet to show these numbers? Seem's my set I use atm hasn't been out parsed in any event I've been to. Just asking so I know if its my set or the rngs I'm parsing against. Thanks and very much appreciated.

Just did some comparing of stats between reforged af and relic feet and reforged relic pants and delve pants converting agi/str into ratt/racc and then combing the 2 pieces stats. Reforged af pants weren't worth doing at all. also cross combined arc socks and Naht pants because the rapid shot.

Hm? Are you sure about this? Granted I've been on SAM most of these last few months so haven't tried it myself but I thought it did work on all hits. Yeah I'm sure, tried with last stand and jishnu's when I came back to the game
I've been working under the assumption that it works on all hits and I seem to be getting 37-43 TP back far more often than before but not sure.
With that build I need 35.2 TP back from Jishnu's assuming the other 3 hits have recycle procs. Swapping to the tree neck would bring it down to 33.1. I was only shooting for a 5-hit before I put the beret in my Jishnu's set. I probably end up with a 4-hit at least 1/3 maybe 1/2 the time, no real numbers to back it up, just guesstimating. I don't like all the stats that I have to give up to get a 4-hit with bow, and a 5-hit has always worked well for me. Just tested this again, recycle procs with Beret augment only work on the first hit of weaponskills.
So wait I'm confused, you don't want to give up an inferior set because of the stats you would lose to 4 hit, because it works well for you?

Yea guess he did mean that... but don't get it, lets say with all the stats you loses to get 4hit your white damage get down by 50, and w's 500 dig less, so in stp gear your ws average is 3000, and you Ra normally do 200,
So with a 4 hits you would do in 13 shoots(30secs), starting from 0 tp.
800, 3000, 600, 3000, 600, 3000 = 11000 = 366.7dps
On a 5 hits in 13 shoots
1250, 3500, 1000, 3500, 500 = 9750 = 325.udps
Guess not hard to decide...
(Just using random numbers... and simple math, over time [less hit set] will do more damage than [higher hit set])

The last time I looked into it, it wasn't worth it to me. I'd have had to change main/sub, body, neck, legs, I think feet, I can't remember it was like a year and a half ago. These days I could probably get close enough by getting the neck from tree and swapping in a Store TP back and ring. I also forgot to add Tripudio to my item set earlier. I'm also already 4-hitting part of the time with Conserve TP+hat procs.
Those changes would put me at 24.6 TP/shot with hat while losing 9 accuracy/attack and 7 STR. I'd need to get 26.2 TP back from WS. A full return Jishnu's with hat proc on 1 hit with my current set will give 23.6 TP so I'd need to get 3 TP back from Conserve TP or find some other changes. Need them to release 119 Empyrean so I can use Sylvan Bragues. Store TP +9 there would make it easy.
Edit: Iuitl Tights have Store TP +5, so that'd be 25.3 TP/shot with that swap and I'd need 24.1 TP back from WS. Just .6 TP from WS short. Swap back, pants, or earring for an extra 5 Store TP on WS and we're there.

Actually, Aetosaur Trousers +1 would make up for the accuracy lost from the mantle at the loss of only 3 STR compared to Iuitl +1.

You could try switching
Axe -> Mekki Shakki
Shield -> Bloodrain strap
Gloves -> Augmented Seiryu Kote, or Qaaxo mitaines
Sylvan -> Lutian cape
K'ayres ring -> Ranged acc ring

Belt could also be switched out for Goading since that's a pretty low impact slot, I know some gun users use this without accuracy issues and riding out Namas aftermath would only help that further.

Not going to be riding Namas Aftermath. When I have Decoy Shot up, I'm spamming Jishnu's. I'm also trying to keep the -enmity in my set as high as possible and Eland gives -5 so that is kind of a high impact spot with respect to that. Same issue with changing hands out. I also want to keep the + critical hit rate and TP bonus from Fencer so I don't want to use staff/strap.
Edit: I guess I could start playing with Decoy Shot up/down sets.

Well since double shot is -50enmity with AF3+2 Head. Might consider using double shot when decoy is down

Saving Double Shot for when Decoy Shot is down isn't worth it. I also believe you have to keep the hat on for midshot which would really hurt TP gain. I've not seen any testing but based on other Empyrean pieces that's probably how it works.

Can use pantentia sash for the stp 5 without enemity if gill is no problem. I've currently got 25 tp with a 540 bow and 27 tp with skirmish gun +2. Took out some pieces for gun to lower to 25 and put in better dmg stats. I want switch out some the stp gear on bow though maybe if get tenzens bow with the 600 delay.

All 3 sets give +5 Store TP and this assumes you can get 5 Store TP and 2 Crit Rate on Seiryu's Kote. Spending days at a Synergy Furnace trying to get perfect augments sounds so fun...
After applying STR to attack and AGI to accuracy, the Seiryu's Kote set gives 3.75 more attack and 14 more accuracy than the current set, but has 15 less STR to apply to fSTR2.
Obviously it gives far more accuracy but I'm not concerned with getting more accuracy, I already have more accuracy than my 5-hit set by swapping in Aeto. Trousers +1.
The third set is just unimpressive. Less or equivalent in every stat compared to the current set after applying STR/AGI to R. Atk/R. Acc.
I think I'm going to stick with my current set.

I think I just had the single worse rate of recycle proc in the history of this modern era of this game lost 20 bullets in a AA fight like really with a 92% racc rate really didn't think that was possible lol.

with the kote set you're suppose to be using goading or pat. belt for an additional 5stp.

mine's a little different.
neck: rancor collar" (crits during barrage yes plz~)
back: Lutian" for more acc
feet: orion+1: again more acc
and a second haj ring.
Both sets are nice. I use what I use for max acc barrage and use it on everything (lazy I know)

If you have the Shantotto Legs + AF Hands, you should be able to hit 10. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought hands gave +2 and Legs +1. 10 is max possible to my knowledge

It was my understanding that since it the 8 hit limit didnt pertain to barrage because barrage shows as its own damage. If it showed each individual ammo's damage, then it would be limited to 8.

It's possible to get to 10 and even 11 if you take into consideration Lionsquall. However possibility and probability are at odds with each other. The probability of hitting 9-11 shots is very very small from my understanding.

Haven't felt comfortable using the shantoto legs on high level content (although they're still in my sachel :x ). The problem with barrage as far as I'm concerned is that the first hit you miss ends your barrage. If you miss hit 3, wearing gear to get you to +10 is irrelevant. I do like the orion hands though, so I use those and in all other slots go full acc.
