Seems I over-exagerated a bit on "any situation"(thought I had checked multiple pdif but seems I didn't). Khepri wins as you become less attack starved, though. If your cRatio is greater than about 2.15 or so Khepri pulls ahead. The use of bream sushi helps explain this. I also forget that most people just do 6 man AA where as I'm usually doing DM or the occasional Ceizak Delve still so I usually calculate with full alliance buffs which would obviously cause some discrepancy. I'll be more clear in the future.

I'll be more clear in the future. Sorry, I am not seeing Orion pull ahead unless pdif is as low as 1.5. What do your fSTR and hit rate look like? What do you use for monster stats? Capped hit rate, I forgot to take off Boost-STR in my original statement concerning pdif, but essentially just went with the conclusion that unless I'm missing Boost-STR or a full minuet for some reason that Khepri is going to be better. Glad someone else is getting somewhat similar results though.
Tojil, 45% Def Down, Red Curry Bun, 4 minuets(Non-SV), Chaos Roll for 25%. PDIF of 2.3062 and fSTR of 38(capped for 119 anni), 244AGI(with Orion +1) Edit: to further explain, I didn't actually brute force pdif values, just tried to present a value I got where the difference started to become less significant based on possible buffs, so your 1.5 is obviously going to be more accurate. I need to run some more tests but so far I like what I'm seeing with Arcadian Braccae's:
 Though I don't think the EES augment has been boosted above 20% Would Arcadian Jerkin replace Sylvann Caban +2 for pre-shot? It looks pretty good to me.

Preference I guess, Sigyn's just seems more well rounded. Also, those sets were posted before the Update~ which is why relic isnt included. It ends up boiling down to 8STR and like 7 accuracy or something for 10 Ratk. So Sigyn generally superior. im sure you could find a weird situation where manibozho would win. The difference isn't massive, but its there and enough to go make a quick pair of sigyn hands (like 4 S2 runs or something) How is arcadian beret +1 fairing for our fellow rngs?
Using it for my Pre/Postshot at the moment, I'll take the -4 rapidshot and guaranteed 5 TP til proven wrong..

So whats better? Relic Gun or Relic Bow? i know you can now take an Empy to 90 and unlock the WS so you would have Jishnu's on Yoichi but.......... i havnt played in a long time so idk whats best. Help please :) Common vote is Gun. I asked a couple pages back.
I support Nikia's statement. It is always a 5k difference between us. Gun or Bow. Whatever floats your boat.
Gun for utility when hate matters. Bow if not. Even then, make what you prefer not what's "best"
Gun is better for RNG in all relevant scenarios. Bow is only when you are also considering SAM too.
The difference between gun and bow using relic ws (why would you be on rng when enmity isn't a primary concern) is more than some arbitrary statement like "5k" and a good rng with proper buffs can routinely pull hate using just namas in AAs, gun is far less likely to do so. Having the ability to go all out and not really pull hate is hard to beat if your playing rng Gun seems the way to go finally making mine resistance seems futile. I kept thinking about Bow for my sam maybe do both but for rng I will be doing Gun next. Anyone concider using a full rapid shot build with the new relic set?

I was just glad to see a different question other than, "Hi, I am a non-relic rng and would like to be included on VD Mithra fights. Does this set allow me to hit it?"

Your anecdotes about yourself and other individuals you play with are completely irrelevant, Gun is better. 5k is a completely arbitrary figure because you could be referring to a parse where there has been 100k damage done or 500k damage. If the gun rng is consistently around the same figures as the bow rng then he is lacking in gear or not as good at rng. If you want people to stop responding to it then I'd suggest stop responding to the topic entirely, rather than trying to have the last word then say the conversation is over. |
