If you didn't notice, there are HQ and NQ versions. The NQ are barely weaker than HQ.

Using you're example of hexed and hexed -1. Hexed gams -1 are 120~200m in bazaars currently - not universally affordable. Hexed gams NQ though are <2m, UNIVERSALLY AFFORDABLE.

Its not a case of only the elite will get these weapons, joe blogs perle drks will be running around with them within 2 months of release.

Highly doubt it, people will just shift their labor hour to the new stuff and old stuff will reduce in supply.

This is what people are hoping and anticipating. People just want reassurance that what they've invested in, is not wasted. Otherwise, they might as well declare this year to be the last year for FFXI. Lol.

What wonders me is all this new stuff is out, so you do Wild reives, then Delve to get it, then what? You got the gear but what next.

They just gave us gear/weapons that blows everything away in game. So we do delve to get gear to do more delve? I don't see much of anything being worth value or time anymore. Most all content is dead. SoA seems like a fail already. A lot of old players returned for this update and for what. I see a lot of disappointed players.

Also they where making ffxi to fit a casual player right? and now they release Reives then Wild reives. So you Spend a week farming balyd to enter 1 Wild then 3-4 hours Fighting? Casual player have time for that?

Been saying this for awhile. 99 emps are going to be next to impossible since you can't low man farm 90-99. (realistically)

At least this update will make the crafters happy.

It makes no sense to render all newly-released gear (Naakual and Skirmish stuff) obsolete in the very next update from which it was released. There just has to be something we're missing. Information that can't be data-mined.

This is also true and a load of shiz, VW was a mistake for HMP farm biggest load of crap. Also VW is dead. How you suppose to upgrade emps if no one does them and you need a alliance to even have a slim to none chance at a pouch..

The day has come where a lot of people quit. A club has higher base Dmg than a 99 R/E/M.. great ideas SE you just ruined the game..

I think it's more likely SE has just decided to go the gear grind MMO route, the next update will top what we got this time, then again after that and so on and so forth.

Don't need a full alliance for any VW fight.

I don't plan on cancelling, but I'm not gonna laugh at him. He's not rage quitting, look at it as something of a boycott. You boycott to tell companies you disagree with their policies, etc. because they won't listen to one man, you hit them in the wallet and that's where they feel the most pain. I'm not participating in this...boycott, if you will, because I have friends I still like doing misc. ***with in this game, but I support these people who are cancelling in protest.

I spent the past 2 hours trying to update. WTF mang.
