Don't forget about dalm +1 for mdb and refresh 1 on the pdt/mdt indi set! I would like to suggest that gear slots that are unoccupied due to the absence of af/relic/empyrean gear be filled with either a stronger melee set, or a conserve mp set for geomancy spells. Nares cap and hedera cotehardie are probably already in your standard gear you'd carry anyways. You can simply add austerity belt and be done with it, or go overboard imo with the smaller 2/3/4 conserve mp choices if you are looking at ways to fill up your inventory. Quite a few geo spells cost upwards of 300 or more, and the ability to quickly change geo spells on the fly is certain to be a boon. Conserve mp is obviously a fairly weak trait, but given the lack of better gear I say go nuts :)

Added the Dalmatica as an alt choice. As for the Conserve MP idea, if you have the inventory space it doesn't hurt, but I'm hoping AF and some more bells come out soon enough. It was more to remind people to put the bell on, and that you can take it off for other spells without sacrificing TP.

Edit: 615 combined skill atm, potency testing on the spells I have will hopefully start soon after I cap.

A Thrifty alternative to Chelona +1 for Fast Cast Feet (Fast Cast +3%, not a bad alternative for Dark Magic feet too I believe):

Legs go with m.crit dmg+10%, crit rate 44%.

While it's not something I'd use given that Life Cycle is based on current HP (meaning I'd have to put all this on, lock it, then cure to full), this is what I was able to throw together for those who are interested. Replace the hands/waist based on your race.

I also just realized, wouldn't Morrigan's Coronal +1 > Magavan Beret for Hexa?

The Orvail Corona looks to be a good alternative for Realmrazer.

Thanks for the good work there! Now combine all that into a nice xml, pls =)

On a more serious note: It's nothing major but GEO actually gets to use Cheruski Needle, so that would be great for Hexa.

Has anyone planned an Enfeebling set for GEO yet?

bokwus robe / bokwus hands/ bokwus feet/ are the best nuking pieces atm @ rank 10-15, soothsayer staff too @ rank 5+

bokwus robe + serpentes hands/feet makes a nice refresh set.

chelona hat can replace robeus head
bokwus robe >Krabat Jacket btw it's very easy to obtain too

I was actually curious about this, does Soothsayer actually beat out the ToM Staves? Wanted to be sure of this before I went and wasted 30k Plasm/Bunch of time on Trials.

SCH Staff Math

According to Sawtelle it doesn't for Blizzard 5 even at rank 10, but I haven't played with the numbers for lower tiers, -ra spells, or post Elemental Magic update as I've been kind of on a FFXI break/(very) slowly writing a GEO guide.

Edit: I should be back on to get my GEO AF.

What augments are we looking for on Robe/Staff? M.AB on the body, M.acc on the staff? Or just full M.ab on everything? Just wondering because it seems like everything is resistant/evasive these days or is the M.acc on the listed nuking set enough for new content?

Seems like impact is popular for bosses and I must confess I know little about the mechanics of it. I see wiki says it's elemental magic and it sounds like if it lands at all you get -20% stats, and duration is determined by resistance? I know we're not casting impact as a nuke so much as a debuff but still I'd like to get the maximum performance for my mp. On megabosses how much ele skill and m.acc should I be stacking vs how much mab?

I was thinking something like:
ItemSet 305026

What set are you guys using?
