I always found claiming Guku to be the best part. It's always fun beating an entire alliance to the punch. Even more so if you do it over and over again.

Ya know... PUP/war could probably solo him easy enough, and would have more red procs than BLU. Only thing is I would need a sword that PUP can wear.

Go nin/war to farm KIs then switch to /dnc to fight Sobek.

Edit : well you don't have nin, so pup/war is a good option.

can anyone give me the name of the sword from WoTG that's all jobs?

I actually just finished my lv85 Kannagi last night. I duoed half with my girlfriend and half of it i soloed. I wouldn't gold chest farm. You'd be surprsied how often people don't farm Sobek anymore. Most people have their empyreans and are working on relics and mythics. Last night, I was the ONLY person farming sobek for about 3 hours.

With your case, I'd farm KI as probly blu/war. For Gukumatz, Cannonball. Its fast and has better range than Voke/Flourish. And, unlike stupid Brarius, all the stuff for Sobek are right next to oneanother. So you are farming a bewitching tusk and molt scrap then just bounce to the peistes when the window is open. If you dont get the claim, whatever, just go kill some other NMs and come back in 10. No more than 5 minutes were wasted.

As far as killing Sobek, whatever you're most confident w/. I did it as nin/dnc. Stuned only spells, and i turned every time it did a TP move (awful eye). I have a beefy MDT set for Tyrant tusk, so it averaged a whole 400 dmg on me. Didnt even knock me into yellow. If you go the blu route for Sobek, i warn you, don't spam your blu spells. Take it slow with probly Heavy Strike, dmg from your swords, and Delta thrust so it doesn't spam TP moves.

Oh yeah I know all about soloing on BLU. I have the hybrid/full evasion sets, magian sword, etc...

Then yah, I'd honestly go blu. I find i work far more efficiantly when im on a job i understand well vs not. You can always ask some friends here and there for help too. Free card of balance, stone of balance, stone of ardor, and card of ardor!

Yeah I just tried it on PUP, got claim on guku 4x but apparently pup is severely lacking in red procs. I thought for sure having native dagger skill would get me ED and cyclone and apparently they do not xD

for mine i did a combo of bst + blu switching back and forth, i don't like to ask for help will towards the end like last 10. i used bst to solo sobek and bst/war for lizard/bugard kis, occasionally i'd get a free sobek, or guku would be up and i could get the ki. /war gives you the most procs highly recommend that. i used blu to burn up pieste KIs when guku was over camped, it wasn't fast but i made progress and didn't have to fight for the timed spawn. this took me about 2 weeks off and on playing.

Back when I was finishing my Almace, I was easily able to farm the 3 KI's BLU/WAR, the only real issue was (some) procs. Personally I have noticed that the KI's drop with about a 50/50% chance without red. Sobek on the other hand I never got to try solo. But one of the above methods should work fine.

grats, but 22 days to get skins?... I got 100 skins for me and a friend, in 4 days. 75% KI from the chest other claimed.

People's playtimes differ, and he had a limited job selection. If you really want to talk efficiency then calculate the man-hours that went into the weapon.

I told my LS I was BLU burning in Mis Coast for 6 hours and it would be nice if they could come and hold Key Items for me. I bought like 500 keys and capped Amber,Pearl and Azure(pretty easy to do these in like 30min or so) then I CW'd Raptors(Raptors are pro because they link and aggro sound and they move quick so they don't despawn easily since they track by scent too). Most LS helped out and some also leeched EXP/Cruor. In about 6 hours I think I managed about 15 pops then burned them all for about 23 skins. Did the same thing about 4 days later and got another 18. Since I had about 41 skins my LS was cool with just doing the last few the old fashioned way, did that in like an hour(BLU burned for Guku KI while also camping).

CW burning is the best way to get KI, screw camping Guku, can find like 5 Pesite Claws in a single round of Gold chests if you're lucky. Also pull all 22+ raptors and burn those and simultaneously have someone pull a lizard/peist and gather the remainders up and sleep them by camp so while raptors respawn you can Lightningbolt+CA+Efflux Whirl of Rage the other mob family.

Gold boxes don't seem to drop the KI for Minax Bugard, though. You should plan on having red procs available regardless due to that.

Surprised gukumatz is still camped hard enough in other servers to still warrant the need to CW burn for KI. You can actually find that NM unclaimed roaming around here most times other than on weekends.

Same on shiva.. i helped someone recently and noone was at guku at all for 7hrs
