Adjustments as small as they can be are always worthwhile.
Relative to anything else this time could have been spent on, though? You need substantial defense buffs just for defense to even
start to matter on NMs and we don't really struggle with fodder as is. It's a minor gain at best and I doubt it will legitimately affect merit considerations.
My point is, more important stuff is already in development, in the meantime they adjust smaller things. Will requiem adjustment be gamechanging? Not really, but there's a difference between saying "meh, this doesn't change my life" and "no! they shall never fix this spell!"
It's not worth of its own special announcement maybe *shrugs* but it doesn't hurt to have it.
It doesn't excite me either, but fixing something that doesn't work is still better than not fixing it.
