Quite the opposite. Played Barbarian through Act 1, now playing Monk through Act 1 (taking all classes through Act 1 to see how they play before moving on). I felt like I did a TON more damage with Barbarian than with Monk.

I've yet to dual wield on Barbarian, too. Two-handed weapons or weapon/shield has been best for me thus far.

Though I did get a pretty bitchin' (for the level) club off of one of the NMs and I got a decent one-handed scythe of the Skeleton King, so...probably all still pretty subjective and given it's Act 1, normal difficulty, probably not indicative of the entire game yet, either.

As far as barb goes I'm currently lvl 50 and my dps is abot 3k and that's low from what I've read so lol idk about you guys but I like my barbs 7k crits and stuff currently act 1 hell

"Damage" in your status, there is no "magic power" as far as I know.
I dont think this is how it goes, I mean, I also thought this was the case, as I was using a wand with "find magic items %+" but someone gave me a club with +23 int on it. Damage went down, while my int went way up....

do I have to find a balance between "Damage" and "Damage Increased by Int"? or focus one or the other?

on the forums someone was selling spots to a "cow" lvl but was pony's or something i think he was saying said you needed a special item and well i only know of 1 item that is weird and cost 100k gold

Edit: also on a side note the dmg thing for mages is correct if weapons are same base dmg or dps then the one with more int will win for a mage

I'm with you on that one, sure I like what they did but I want to kill cows... I enjoyed it oh so much in D2.

Just wondering if this is normal. Finished downloading logged in created character then hit start game. Been sitting with the message servers are full "queuing" for about 10 minutes now.

*edit* Nevermind guess I am being HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE as usual and not paying attention. Maintenance from 5-5:30 pst guess I was just too close to it to get in.

Friend came over and I logged in on his account, played around for a few minutes (yay it plays on my limited PC :p) and oh my god I do love it lol.


Once my new PSU gets here and I can game a little more comfortably I will probably be on more.

Find the script under downloads. The "Diablo III WASD 1.2.ahk" download is for standard 4:3 resolutions, and the "Diablo III WASD 1.2 Corners.ahk" is for widescreen resolutions.

It's pretty simple to setup

edit: You have to use the program AutoHotKey to run it... so install it, after that open the script and use windows to find AutoHotKey and open the script with it. Make sure WASD aren't set in game as anything, set the move button to F12 and after pressing F12 in game (assuming you have the WASD script running which is at the bottom right of the taskbar near the clock) you can move with WASD.

mehh the 'LULZ ERROR 37!1!' meme is old as dirty now, the game was a train wreck first day, and then down 30-45 mins mins on the whole of day two and it's been pretty solid since.

Don't let that fool you the game is much more deverse then Diablo 2 is.

But I will say, when I started act 2 I did say outloud "I'm gonna laugh if Act 3 is a jungle"
