mmm... a shared lobby isn't MMO though. Even if you count it as an area, if nothing happens in the area, other than to stage instances, then.. it's basically graphical chatroom, ie lobby. The game has to be based around the style of play supposed (multiplayer or MMO) and not just have that aspect in a couple places. Otherwise my first MMO was Quake 2 and that's just stupid.

Finally progressed into Inferno Act2 today, killed Magda and pushed a bit farther in.

Skele King runs and butcher runs are mostly cake now... Something awesome about standing in a poison + dessecrator pool and straight tanking a whole rare pack, on Wizard haha.... when a week ago they raped my face almost instantly.

This is the kinda progression that is keeping me hooked. I love hitting a brick wall, working on my build a little and then pushing through.

I think they are doing good things with the game and I'll be playing a while longer, whether it "dies" or not is of no concern to me lol..

I'm not even sure what I did...maybe it just so happened that the first elite pack I ran into in Inferno was ridiculous, but I barely upgraded a couple of things and managed to keep 5 NV through killing the Skeleton king the first time last night. Previously I'd just die when confronted with elites (though that does sometimes still happen if they can, you know, get near me or have mortar in close quarters/ waller).

I even found a somewhat nifty legendary 2H crossbow. It's a bit less damage than what I was using, but 24.6% chance for something like 700-1100 bleed damage for 5 seconds, which seems like something nice I think.

Found my first decent ilvl 63 item this morning, 1330 damage 2 handed crossbow, with nothing special on it, just raw damage.

Sold it for $45 and within minutes someone bought it, kinda wish I had listed it for more but hell, that's a tank of gas.

What was the comparison between what you were using and what the legendary's stats were?

The wand/ source I was using before gave me about 200 more dps than the crossbow does (12,472 VS 12,246). The bleed on crossbow is 23.4% chance for 709-1041 over 5 seconds. Considering I'm kiting everything that matters it seems pretty decent. Only reason I usually stick with 1H weapons is to be able to use a shield if I feel I need one/ find a really nice shield.

Just got my first legendary in awhile... the MF chest.. gold something... so worthless I salvaged it and can't even remember the name.

Have been nothing but junk. Best in last to days was a ilvl 63 helm with 260 int 18 or 19 MF and GF. Will prolly just sell it since I don't feel like leveling wizard atm. Just been running through act 1 a lot. Get 3-5 ilvl 63's per run but nothing all that special. Honestly time wise better off with GF set doing speed runs through siegebreaker. At least then I am getting at least 400-500k and hour.

I'm really hating the MF not affecting chests. In the past few days I've found 1 rare in a gold chest/ pinata.

Got another worthless legendary.. Some necklace with low strength/dex (~40 of each), with 15% GF/MF

the majority of legendaries/set pieces are worthless unless you can find something that benefits a particular skill, add utility, increases your damage and adds health.

Yeah, but it's from a gem. You can put that much life on hit an any socketed weapon.

Speaking of crappy legendaries though, the first one I found (only level 24 I think) has like 7% movement speed on it (a weapon). If only I could find that on something useable then that would be nice.

It's moreso the dps, coupled with the LoH that makes it worth so much.

I see. That weapon is pretty nice there. I never really bother much with LoH as wizard (since it's terrible with any of the spells I use), but I sort of forgot about the damage to life you can get on weapons. I'd imagine that works at full strength with blizzard (maybe hydra..?) and multi-hit spells. Anyone know for sure if it does?

The 2.90% life steal is actually pretty nice despite the 80% (or 60.. I can't remember) nerf in inferno. Crits give me 1.2-1.4k HP compared to the normal 800

80% in inferno. Something about in theory it was scaled that way because in time everyone's dps would average out enough for it to be better than LoF. But with weapons popping on AH everyday with upwards of 2k LoF and increasing base dps I don't see that really being true.

Also that weapon selling for 230M or w/e is just silly. Even if that's a radiant star gem 18Mish to make(Not sure as I don't have the plans to make one)? you just paid 200M for 1K dps. Unless I was selling it then awesome lol...

*edit* It's like everyone thinking you need 1k+ resist all. Made it though act4 last night on alt account with 300ish resist. I do have 50% block and 1.5K LoF. But my LoF only costed just over a mil. Block was more expensive but very useful. Justice Lantern, Stormshield, and w/e the helm with 8% block is legendary too but cheap.

Does anyone know if server transfers are allowed? From Asia to US, and what not.

Dunno for sure but since it's setup just like WoW with battlenet if it's possible it would prolly be on there in the account options.

Options > Account > Server Region Select
