I like what you have to bring to the table with this, final cutscene shows Diablo falling from Heaven, fading away, and the only thing remaining and undestroyed was the soulstone that was in his/her chest and fell to the earth. A full rebirth would be possible, hell maybe Imperius will take it and harbor the Soul Stone, we wont know until they give us some more detail, but I feel it will revolve around those two elements that were left open.

I kinda got tired of doing Act I butcher runs today so I decided to play Borderlands.

Adria is still out there too, I doubt we've seen the last of her.

I am keeping in mind as well that Tyreal is still mortal at this point and aside from the nephalem he has had the closest contact with the soulstone and prime evil of anyone (mortal/still alive anyway).

As far as what else they can do there is a buttlaod of hell-related mythos still available to them, I've been watching Supernatural the last two weeks so lots of ideas in my head.

they don't need to raise the level cap for an expansion, remember how D2 classic and LoD work out?. you can start from scratch or you can convert your char to LoD. I'm pretty sure they going to have two different play mode like D2 and LoD, this is also the reason why they are holding so many stuff back for the expansion. The best way to describe it is that the new development team are being lazy to create more new stuffs after what we already had in D2:LoD, they just split the contents in D2 to make D3 and D3 expansion.

Btw D2 classic items isn't crap after LoD released, it become crap beause you converted your char to LoD. Those god tier gear still in the god tier in classic mode.

I'm sure the next thing we'll see is something with Adria, I mean something that big to happen kinda just screams "HEY, HEY!!!.... EXPANSION!!! LOOK AT ME!!!!"

Hopefully future expansion(s) will be more than just 1 act.

What happened to Adria is a loose end, but again, what threat does she pose? She was just a pawn, not some all-powerful being. She couldn't even take care of the snake men who had captured her (lol). After defeating Diablo, hunting down Adria to pimpslap/one-shot her would be very anti-climactic.

There are a lot of questions at the end of the game, but none of them lead anywhere that would yield a challenge that competes with or surpasses all 7 evils combined as one. The most they can offer is better closure to the story. I can't see them leading to a more formidable foe than Diablo; like I said, save for some kind of deus ex machina. And that would be so, so very lame.

If she gets a hold of the black soulstone somehow, that would change, and tbh given how weak the story is, I wouldn't be surprised if they just reuse the black soulstone over and over and over.

Would completely destroy the aspect that Leah was the perfect vessel because her father was the stranger, either that or it would make Adria an inferior vessel, and then the question remains: how will she pose a bigger challenge than what we already saw?

lol I had a scare today that i thought I lost all my characters and whatnot- it turned out that regional servers have their own storage for each account. I find this very weird. o_O

In regards to story, if you watch the last fight, you don't actually take his HP to 0. He's on the ground, still taking damage, his HP is 900-ish, and the CS takes over. Although he falls, he is not defeated.

So, I have kind of a moral dilemma in D3 now. A friend of mine (the one who got the uber weapon/gear hand out) is now talking about running a bot on his account, says he found one that apparently does Sarkoth(cellar) runs in Act I.

I told him that I frown upon it, and told him that I think that straight out cheating like that isn't going to make the game any more fun, which is why he says he plans to run the bot. He says he has hit a wall and can't find anything better or make money on his own fast enough to buy any upgrades, and it is either quit or cheat for him.

He refuses to see any option other than cheating though so right now I am half considering just reporting him. He is my friend and all but when he comes into games where I am playing with other friends or random people and starts shitting on all of us, bragging about his DPS that was handed to him and what act he is on, it just really irks me.

I usually brush ***off, don't hate the player hate the game and all that, but it really gets to me because he is being such a d-bag about it.

Your talking in "what ifs" at best and the problem will never get solved. Best they can do is slow it down some. Just look at any other MMO(yaya this isn't a MMO) bans get issue'd "hackers" reup accounts/rewrite scripts and move on. Not to mention unless it somehow affects blizzard's or any company's profit's bans are always laughable and always will be until an outside agency of law would act.

Just watch the "hacker's" video that came forward about it. Running 100 accounts in 2 instances or w/e. Making 60M an hour. 24/7. Could ban all his accounts bought and pay for with stolen paypal/credit cards etc. Prolly within the day he would be back up and running and doubtful he would be caught before he/she turned a nice profit. Just another one of those it sucks moments but fact.

*edit* Not to come off like a *** I am against cheating but I try to keep it real. Only a moron would use personal info to bot/exploit and their are some but it's a very small percent. Would need to take the AH away and or any form of trading. Even then people would just sell accounts.

Yeah for RMT people the bans are laughable, but for a normal semi-casual player, having your ***banned is $60 down the drain. I for one don't want to buy another copy of this game, especially if my reason for cheating was that I was bored with it to begin with.

Alas, he has also seen the video with the farmer, and has that same mindset, that he probably wont get caught, and sadly he is probably right.

Yeah I agree I wouldn't dump another 60 bucks for this game but my purpose for playing is self entertainment. Not for profit. Or to feel leet from things I didn't earn. But that's just my play style. To each their own. If you wanna out your buddy because you think it's morally wrong then go for it. I mean one less cheater is one less cheater. Not to mention I personally dislike people that brag about gear they didn't earn.

That's pretty much how I feel, I would rather be stuck in Act 1 and do 100 butchers while making minor improvements (and waiting for patches/nerfs) or making new characters and having fun. If I get to a point where I feel I have to cheat outright to make a game enjoyable then that means to me the game is not as enjoyable as it should be and I should move onto another game. When I made this point to my friend he said that he would do that while he runs the bot so he gets the best of both worlds -_-

Well goodluck to him then lol. Can only reroll so many times. And then what. Will be stuck sitting in boredom waiting for new content which will prolly be cheated through. Defeats the purpose in my mind unless he thinks he is gonna make money going against thousands of other accounts that are most likely doing what he is at a higher rate and way more effective.

The only way to enjoy a game like Diablo is to stop giving a f**k about cheaters, Cause Blizzard will never be able to completely combat them all without making the game unplayable.

Its wasted brain space that could be better put to use trying to enjoy the game. Its unnecessary frustration over something you will never ever be able to control.

When i played Diablo 2, and still today, If i go online its a locked game, Or i play offline, either or, and I don't give a second thought to the idea everyones running around in hacked armor... I still have a fun time finding new weapons and gear that are shiny :)

Diablo 3 however... hrumph. the Shinies suck (I think they're fixing sucky Shinies in 1.03 though)

After a few seconds of rage and dropping a couple elbows on his forehead I finally finished getting all the items for it again -.-! Got normal and nightmare paid for almost enough for hell then another mil for inferno again =(.

What are your thoughts on the Day 1 rollback petition for when they open the RMAH? I don't personally think it would fix much and if anything would just piss a bunch of people off who aren't just playing for profit/gear (like achievement hunters). It might cause a temporary drop in prices of some things but I think it would just be a matter of time before things get like they are now.

There is an extremely easy gold dupe involving your computer clock going around. Blizzard *** up on levels far worse than anything I have ever seen in a modern online game. Computer clock related AH, *** really? Billions of gold already duped, inc server rollbacks.
