Every single class in the game has a CC breaker. If you die to bees and it's not due to lag, dropping your mouse, your house exploding, or going into shock, it's your own fault.
Barbs can also charge out of jailer.

Guess it's time to get DH to 60. Been messing around in Nightmare pony land to much. One of the few places I don't lag so it makes it even more enjoyable.
On a offnote if you want some laugh's start up ponyland then open the game to the public. Then just watch the death toll stack up. Kinda mean but I laugh so hard. Of course I am not a complete d*ckhead after a few deaths I let them leech a little while I kill everything.

Anyone developing any strange habits while playing? For example when I am on Barb and start spamming revenge on a pack I will be screaming "SPIN TO WIN BABY SPIN TO WIN!" and everything time I use Energy Armor on Wizard I say "ENERGY LEGS!" stuff like that >.>

Just had a Wiz in a random group get a set item off a pack, first one I saw drop, blackthorne legs. Then the piece of ***says that he had 157% MF gear on and was fulltiming it, he had 6k damage total -_-
Took us like 10 tries to kill butcher too, I don't wanna point fingers but...
Gimping yourself to have more MF in an inferno game is officially now on my list of D-bag things that piss me off in D3.

Even so, to take a Wiz which should be doing at least 20k damage at that point and gimp your gear so badly that you are doing 6k, not to mention dying constantly, then you are basically just leeching off the group not to mention making it harder for them since it would be easier for everyone to win if you just leave at that point.
I am mad bro, I am butt hurt.
In better news I figured out a use for my netbook since I can't really play D3 on it, I can still browse the AH while I'm pooping.

Just had a weird experience. Went into a game where there was a witchdoctor afk in leorics manor. Went in and all the ares between there and the cursed hold had no enemies aside from the champ packs. People kept coming in and leaving really fast too, decided after the second area with no mobs that I wasn't going to hang around.
Have a weird feeling I am going to be hacked soon though, it was that kind of a weird game.

It is a fake link. Theres a code floating around you can type/edit into the Chat in Diablo 3 to make Fake Items.
I don't know the specifics, But the only thing it does is show the item, Its not a hacked item as the item doesn't actually exist in game, Just the picture of it.
Hopefully that makes sense.

Makes sense (kinda lol) I noticed that when he linked it it had a different name then what is shown on the picture.
Glad to see hopefully that it's just a fake thing.

I followed the development of D3 pretty thoroughly, and at one point the patch notes for a beta build changed Magic Find to average between players in multiplayer games.

Heard a rumor that "Increases attack speed" has no effect, was this debunked, or true? etc..
Going to start AHing out lv60 (-8 lv requirement) weapons for my hell run tonight and would like to know.
Thanks

Yes, "Increases Attack Speed" doesn't work, but will be patched in the next update. Asura.Leonlionheart said: »Apparently Magic find is Averaged in MP Games too. or someone on the O.F has TinFoil Hat syndrome.

Yes this is true as well, in multiplayer games your MF is averaged, though it will not show the new average on your char sheet

Yea it is fake. D3 uses the same item linking as WoW, and in WoW you can edit the link to create items with custom modifications (Swords with glove-only enchants, multiple enchants on weapons, etc.) so it's really rather simple. You just need the item code and know where in the code to edit it.

I'm assuming this is on inferno, feel free to correct me otherwise. Most people have issues killing the elites on inferno, so they skip them. The rapid leave/join is actually a glitch where you can skip acts and quests.
1) Join a normal single-player game on the quest you want.
2) Leave game
3) Click "public game" and choose the Inferno quest that you just made a single-player game out of.
4) Leave public game
5) Click resume game and you'll be on the heightened difficulty of the quest you joined in single player. (Note: It doesn't have to be multiplayer inferno, could be hell, nightmare, normal, whatever)

There's two types of Increased Attack speed... In text... I think its
"Increases Attack Speed by 15%"
"Attack Speed increased by 15%"
One of them is broken, The other works fine. Sorry its on the forums I just can't find it.

Okay, I was aware of that, its just weird it shows the increase in your status window, so I thought thats odd that It wouldn't translate in game lol..
Guess I'll be looking for a weap with added damage% then? Any advice on what to look for for wiz starting hell.
As of now I'm looking for 600+DPS Staff with damage%, life steal or life per hit and or Int / Vit on it.
Hoping I can grab one to last me all of hell, or at least most of it.

Here is the whole thing about the two forms of attack speed and one not working.
"Increases attack speed by" is an attribute that was meant to be on weapons only. The reason behind this is because (currently) it directly affects the attacks per second of the item it is on. However, due to a bug this is being spawned on things other than weapons which don't have an attack speed to modify. Thus, making the stat useless unless it is on a weapon.
"Attack speed increased by" is an attribute that can spawn on anything for it modifies your total attacks per second that you see in your character sheet. This is a safe one to get on any of your items.
I've heard that some weapons with "Increases attack speed by" are still messed up and not actually receiving the bonus. However, I personally have not seen any weapons in which the stat did nothing. An easy way to see if the stat is working is to look at the weapon's attacks per second and see if it is showing higher than what a normal weapon of that type would have for attacks per second (on the item's info, not your character screen).

IAS works on weapons.
IAS does not work on gear.
ASI works on gear.
They are planning to patch this but not sure how they are doing it.
As far as what you want, get a weapon with as much damage and INT as you can get, I find that Life on hit for wizard is kinda meh unless you get 600+ as most of the piercing/multiple target spells are only getting 11-33% of the life on hit anyway.

This doesn't work, with public games at least. You would have to get on the quest you want to join with a friendlist quickjoin to be able to select the quest you want to do. If you havent played up to the quest you want in single player on your difficulty then you are not able to select it when joining public games.
For example I can not pick "betrayer of the horadrim" for Inferno in either the single player nor the public game lists. I think they patched this last update, the notes mentioned something about no longer being able to skip acts via multiplayer.

It's because "Increases Attack Speed by" is a weapon stat that's only supposed to appear on weapons, but occasionally appears on armor and has no effect. "Attack Speed increased by" is the appropriate stat for armor and it has the effect you'd expect it to. If you see IAS on armor, it won't do anything.
As for wizard though, even attack speed weapons/armor that work won't necessarily equate to more damage if you're doing a lot of kiting or casting spells that are not affected by attack speed.
Edit: beaten twice!

Attack speed is actually very important for kiting, the more of it you have the faster you can turn-cast-turn while kiting. Attack speed and movement speed help a ton.

I was under the impression that it didn't increase the visible frame rate of the attacks per second but was an additional multiplier for your damage. That's why a IAS item will increase the "damage value". The whole game works around that value too. Instead of getting 1200 health everytime I hit an enemy I will get 3600 every "tic" (i believe they did it this way to combat latency issues or something idfk)but the life returned a tic will actually increase with attack speed regardless of how much you stack. That's why when you wear 300 life regen it only shows like 240 a tic if your internet is good or youll get 600 if its bad (or like 900 after using town portal or cutscene). I think they also did it with the intention of not needing a hard cap on IAS due to framerate....

It does seem like when I get a frenzy shrine my numbers go up, which they shouldn't if it was purely attack speed

In my experience it definitely helps get the attacks off faster on Wiz at least. I can turn and pew pew two or three times where without it I would maaaaaybe get one shot off.

the game is broken beyond the point of enjoyment, don't *** tell me that I'm whining and don't have the gear. I rather have hundred thousand baal run than having massive death.
