just tried inferno diablo.
with a monk and 3 demon hunters...
kited and revived each other all crazy like. then we got a BS fire ring + his uber dot ; ~ ;
(attempted it 5 times lol) I want inferno diablo access ; ;
Actually made some progress in Act 2 tonight. Just made it past the aquaducts.

Been looking online where to get them but some of this ***confuses me a little bit (mostly location related ***, I get so turned around everywhere :p)

Got a Rakinishu's Sabre or some such, same idea. Came from a little mini-event fighting a group of Fallen. Rakinishu was the Fallen at the Cairn Stones in D2.
It had unique text, but was pretty crappy.
I totally blacksmithed it into oblivion. Hope that wasn’t a mistake.

I do this a lot... I'm all about magical item +%. So... all the magical items i get don't all get to the auction house. Most of them i just destroy. (i sell only the high valued magical items on the AH, destroy all else)

An irl friend of mine found Wirt's original leg, which I found hilarious.

Wirt's leg was an item in D2 that was used to open the secret cow level.

'kay starting to look for the items I decided to start with Black Mushroom since that's easy and early on to get, I go to Leorics passage, then to cathederal level 1 (like I see on plenty of videos) but each time the room that is just right off the first few feet is like not there... is it all random (as usual?) and I just have to hope to god the room pops?

Yup, and the other items are randomly occurring dungeons altogether, with a randomly occurring chest or NM.

got the black shroom and the bone in hell mode just doing my playthroughs... also got the rainbow stuff on hell mode on normal playthrough... so far i havent needed to spend a lot of time on the items. though im sure the last couple pieces will take me some time to get.

Weird kinda complaint I guess, but I wish that when you joined games it would display character names instead of bnet tags. I know when someone leaves a game it shows their character name for a few seconds, not sure why it doesn't just do that all the time.
Edit - Anyone know if there is a way to make it so you don't pick up every piece of crap on the ground during your clickfests? I seem to remember that being an option in D2 or maybe it was a mod I dunno.

/nopickup turned off item labels unless you pressed alt. No such option exists yet in D3. The best you could do is bind move and attack to separate keys (attack is already bound to shift unless you changed it), but then you'd be playing 99% of the game holding down one of those keys which is just lame

Is life regen scaled or broken or something? With warcry up I should be getting 134 a second not even counting my gear, all I see with healing displayed though is +71~74. I noticed the same thing with my Wizard, I had a ton of health regen on her at one point but it was never displaying it actually healing me that ammount.

Just got my second legendary today, both on my Barb on nightmare act 2 and act 3 level 37 for the first and 44 for the second... 0% magic find on both and they were normal mobs.
The gear also sucked :/

The regen occurs continuously, not once every second, and the on-screen ticks display every 0.5 seconds. You are getting the full regen.
Also, there is an option to change how items show up on the ground. You can change it to toggle with alt. However, I think items ALWAYS show up for a few seconds right after they drop regardless.

Really? Well that's encouraging. On both normal and nightmare I've had to change my build and gear to not get one-shotted by his ridiculously long explosion-fest. He somehow usually manages to trap me in a spot by having absolutely everything around me explode such that I can't safely run anywhere.
Also, anybody heard if/when/how they might fix that attack speed increased by X% glitch? I crafted some pants that I used for about 15 minutes before I realized that the 10% attack speed wasn't doing anything at all. They might actually be useful if they worked.
I made this thread for it to be about strategy, questions, helpful info, etc. for Diablo 3.
