You were probably typing that out while I did my last post, have a look at that.
Ya i was sorry xD. and in all the difficulties the armor that drops is always 5 levels below you, i think they did some ghetto "Every 5 levels is a better tier of armor) or something because i rarely get any good drops that i would equip.
also i asked waaaaay long ago and no one answered so i might as well ask you. why do legendaries suck so much? i see rares that are way better. and I'm talking about weapons... bows/crossbows... sometimes they match up... but they should blow rares away.. not compete
Legendaries are supposed to bridge the gap between shitty rares and awesome rares, and in some cases be best in slot. In Diablo 3, they seem to have scrapped this entirely, and instead have shitty legendaries that are quasi-acceptable if you get good rolls on the random stats that they can generate whilst giving them a 0.00000001% chance to drop.
Isn't that guy the one who has teams of people farming gear for him? In any case, I'll revise my statement: almost no one has cleared Inferno "legitimately".
The only people who have "truly" beaten Inferno used one of the three "exploits": Frost Armor, Smoke Screen, or Mantra of Healing. Since the hotfix that nerfed these, it's not been done.
There's quite a few problems with the game once you hit the cap. Most notably, Inferno being bad. Second, and my biggest gripe: Inferno drops the wrong things.
All that should drop in Inferno should be the creme de la creme of all Legendaries/Uniques. They should have fixed stats and be the best that there is, similar to Hell difficulty in D2.
Instead, Inferno drops Blues and Rares, just like every other difficulty, and in order to be able to get to those blues and rares, you need those blues and rares.
As far as the game not being beaten since the hotfixes isn't true. Granted all the guys that were going for world first blah blah were skipping tons of crap anyways just to get to the bosses which are sadly easier to do atm. But people are running through it just seemly not with "average" gear sets.
Though I do agree gear drops at least in my personal experience are generally crap and seeing how I refuse to give up on barb(Which becomes gear dependent at inferno) and my continued HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE lag in a
lot of areas makes it even more important that I "over gear" has gotten extremely annoying.
I would be happy with a couple real fixes like elites/champions not being completely broken, auction running period, or hell Blizzard actually answering their own forums and speaking up about half of this. Along with things in the future like maybe an open trade chat, endgame, or any one of the on going lists of QQ'ers going on in their forums atm.
Blizzard's response to it pisses me off a bit, too. "Use the Auction House!"
Great, thanks.
Yup... that awesome piece of gear that will bring your DPS up by 5 will only cost you 5,000,000 gold. Can't wait to see what people will be charging on the real world AH.

then there are no 5,000,000 gold items anymore, you'll find them for 50$/€ in the rmt ah, and only in rmt ah ^^.
With the holiday weekend and supposedly thousands of rollback requests I wouldn't hold my breathe on a quick responce. Looked on forums because I constantly lurk to see if I can randomly get gems on AH and as people saying anywhere from 24-72 hours. Goodluck.

There's supposed to be a blizzard article on Monday with answers to most of those topics in it.
But, farming Inferno is what Blizzard considers endgame. I personally like that concept.
STR increases armor, but I wouldnt advise using it lol.
Lol i dont. i just stack dec/vit. though I'm sure i will have to learn what to really stack when i reach hell/inferno.
your going to want to stack some str and int as well. int increases your resistances. but i wouldnt sacrifice too much dex and vit for them
edit: on monk (which uses the same stat) i have about 1200 dex 700 vit 400 int 200 str (estimates)

Highly doubt even 10% of the topics will be answered. Too little too late kinda deal. A responce when it happens other the a vague maintenance message without notice isn't good. Not to mention the few threads started by them just to state a problem such as the AH without any updates. Its been basically a blackout for the most part. Not that I want to sound like the QQ bandwagon that's going on because I understand how new releases never go perfect but at least some timely responces would be nice.
As far as endgame sure I could go with Inferno being considered that if it was balanced out to some effect. I like the game if I didn't I would of quit awhile ago because of the constant lag I play with for one. But when an elite/champion is impossible to kill on certain jobs but can steamroll diablo the scaling seems a tad off. But I could be wrong dunno how it was done in diablo 2.

stack all stats.... got the following stats on my DH:
2718 armor and 526 str , that's 47.43% damage reduction.
764 Vit , +13% life gem in hat , that's 30526 HP.
654 dps weapon with 1293 dex (32,9% evasion), 8% crit rate, +152% crit damage, +47% attack speed and the 2 passive skills which increase the dps to get a constant 20.683,84 dps. with sharpshooter skill as 3rd passive skill fully charged 46.472 dps.
10 Int is 1 ressistance for DH.
Edit: too weak for inferno act II, but act I is very easy.
edit: I tried this and it's not terrible xp but blizzard has apparently nerfed it quite a bit.
Post-nerf azmodan runs are terrible exp. The cool kids to Zoltun Kul now (~100k exp per trade in and instant access to fight). Can still do the leave->resume glitch with him too.

81 Hours and counting since I submitted a ticket for my missing items and no response yet. I know that there are thousands of tickets but I'm still pretty disappoint.
I know that when casting spells as a wiz, the weapon's damage is converted to the element of the spell being cast. Does this apply to any additional elemental damage on the weapon? For instance, if my mace has +200-500 fire damage and I cast blizzard, does the blizzard convert that to ice, or does it stay fire?
