You think Soil Belt would beat Anguinus? fTP doesn't carry to all hits like some of the other new WS, so elemental belts are pretty bad for it. Like, half a page ago.

Was reported on Gobli first, Night had me translate it, and then they tested to confirm.

In the beginning, I tested the universe.
Looks to be a failed experiment, probably going to sell it on craigslist.

Are ele belts the best for this ws or not? B/c i see some saying they are and i see some saying that they arent. If it isn't someone should change this page. http://wiki.bluegartr.com/bg/RequiescatReferences
fTP Testing (Nightfyre, BG)
Skillchain Placement (Prothescar, BG)
100TP Attack Penalty (Prothescar, BG)
fTP Transfer Testing (Nightfyre, BG)
Hmm. Wonder what's beyond that link?

Resolution, Entropy, Blade: Shun, Requiescat, Realmrazer, Ruinator, Last Stand off the top of my head. Upheaval doesn't, Exenterator doesn't, Shoha doesn't, Shijin doesn't, Apex Arrow is one hit, and iirc Shattersoul doesn't.

I'm not entirely sure how I managed to completely forget about that weaponskill's existence, but yeah.

Well guess I will be keeping the light belt around for one more reason.

Descrip says Attack strength varies with TP, so is the TP Bonus Moonshade Earring best for this WS? If not not which earrings normally are?

Just curious, as I've seen it mentioned around a few places and on the old wiki's notes about how damage taken acts as a hidden modifier to this WS, but has there been any sort of testing on this in any kind of detail? Also, on that same note, is it solid DT - gear that affects it, or does stuff like PDT / MDT also count?

I've never heard of this, other than a comment on the first page of this thread; which I took as a joke, personally.
Do you have any links where this is stated/discussed?

Wiki notes:
-20% attack modifier at 100% TP.
Deals nonelemental damage, allowing it to bypass physical blocking moves such as Invincible and Pyric Bulwark.
MDT/PDT does not effect the damage output at all for Requiescat.
It has a -20% ATK penalty @100 TP. It deals non-elemental damage (Like Spirits Within, Atonement) aka does not count as physical dmg. This is why it bypasses Invincible etc.
It is generally wise to gear towards ATK/MND to offset the ATK penalty.
The fTP is carried over for all hits making sea gorget/ele belts best for this WS.

I noticed the comments on the first page of this thread mentioning it, as well as a comment on the new Laeradr Breastplate that was just recently added saying it was supposed to be great for Requiescate, so I went to research it a bit. Seems that I must have misread http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Talk:Requiescat and suddenly I realize I'm in a looping goose chase that likely holds no validity, as it links right back to this thread here.
Probably explains why when I was googling it was just bringing me to this thread and a few gear comments, but nothing concrete. Looks like I dun goofed on doing my homework. Really could have sworn though that I seen it mentioned in a few other places, though.

gorget/ele. belt are the best for the WS.
Nvm, I read about the sea gorget/anguinus belt being the best combo before Nightfyre did the extensive test of the fTP actually carrying over on all hits.
Second the quote above.
So, I was farming in dyna, and I was fighting some fomor PLD.
I wasn't really paying attention, and during invincible, I used requiescat, and it did some dmg, but didn't stagger the mobs. Regular melee hits were still doing 0 dmg.
Idk if ppl know that, but never heard anything about it. Any info on that? The ws is non elemental so...
Edit : I was on pld. The blu wanted to tested it out as well, and it worked as well. We both 5/5.
