Final Fantasy XIV 2.0

So by the Seventh Umbral Storyline, do these include certain quests, I wonder? Or are they going to take actual missions out of the game? I don't think they are, but I like the missions that exist and if they were gonna take them out...

Also, looking at that battle picture that Zabimuru posted is very...interesting. If I had Kain Highwind and Delita Heiral as party members, I wouldn't be watching out for the enemy so much as watching my own back. xD

From the looks of it, everything experienced in the game prior to 2.0 will be gone once its re-released. I would assume this includes nearly every aspect of the story.

The only thing I see SE doing is somehow implementing a recap for new players at the start of 2.0 so they aren't completely lost. The hook being that current players will be able to experience it firsthand rather than through lore.

An alternative being that players receive tidbits of the events through quest lines or missions that may briefly cover the changes throughout 2.0.

Oh very nice 2.0 I can't wait. I myself won't be returning until 2.0 especially since they will start charging next month. I feel I've already paid way to much and got nothing in return(meaning enjoyment). I will definitely re-sub when 2.0 drops for the PC around April. I'm wondering if all the characters will be deleted for 2.0 or if we will keep out current levels, either way idc but I'm just curious. Any way see you folks in 2.0.

The only storyline that would be gone would be storyline talking about what happening Seventh Umbral like cid talking about it in a CS and such but everything else would be the same.
