The great debate: Casey Anonthy
Maybe someone close to her accidently killed Caylee and since it was truly an accident, even though she knew about it, she didn't want to turn said person in. That is a possible scenario. Just because she didn't report her daughter missing for a month doesn't mean she killed her. Someone else could've killed her and threatened Casey if she ever said anything that she would be killed as well.
We may never truly know if Casey Anthony is innocent or not.
I didn't follow the trial fully but there were several things I will say about this:
Until there is a device that can read a person's memory of past events, we may truly never know who killed Caylee. So, is Casey innocent or guilty?

Manslaughter and negligence, amongst other things resulting in death still gives the fear of substantial jail time.
