Maybe someone close to her accidently killed Caylee and since it was truly an accident, even though she knew about it, she didn't want to turn said person in. That is a possible scenario. Just because she didn't report her daughter missing for a month doesn't mean she killed her.

Someone else could've killed her and threatened Casey if she ever said anything that she would be killed as well.

We may never truly know if Casey Anthony is innocent or not.
I didn't follow the trial fully but there were several things I will say about this:
The juror(s) were right in that there was no motive presented by the prosecution or any evidence on how Caylee died.
The new scientific procedures and evidence gathered through those methods are still not enough to prove beyond reasonable doubt that Casey was the murderer. Unless the police and forensic techs were CSI aficionados with high-tech equipment, there is still no concrete evidence that would hold up in a court of law linking Casey Anthony to the murders.
- A lot of the evidence were purely circumstantial at best, which can have multiple explanations for them.
- Was the scent detected in the trunk of the car due to decomposition of a human body or animal?
- Were there DNA collected that would prove her child was in that trunk? In the car?
The truth lies in the evidence but without hardened facts, the truth falters.
One issue I've had over this and any other so-called "high profile" cases is this: Why must one girl's murder take center attention on national TV over the countless number of other children that are murdered by their parents or other family members?
- The same applies to kidnapped victims and how only one child becomes the center of attention while so many other children are not given the same or equal treatment on national TV.
- Are we so opposed to showing other children? Other victims? Or, are we opposed to someone that isn't Caucasian in origin on national TV? I hate to bring race into the discussion but this trial again highlights how racially biased news media is.
- Must the race of the child be more important than hundreds, if not thousands, of other children who become neglected by their parents; murdered; or kidnapped?
- It's wholly lopsided and it's why I've refused to watch national television nowadays and prime time news. They're nothing more than attention grabbers; ratings obsessed outlets to satisfy the public's need for the macabre, the least important and the materialistic.
Until there is a device that can read a person's memory of past events, we may truly never know who killed Caylee.
So, is Casey innocent or guilty?
If I were to base it solely on her attitudes and behavior before AND after Caylee's death, she is guilty based on that alone. If she truly loved her daughter, she would not have done anything of what she did before and after Caylee's death. Casey becomes another example of a poor parent in my eyes; someone who got a child out of circumstance and not love.
If I were to base it solely on the evidence presented by the prosecution, she is not guilty on the murder. The prosecution failed to present both a motive and how Caylee died. The evidence was not there to prove beyond reasonable doubt that Casey indeed killed Caylee.

Was it argued that she was a schizophrenic? No. Was it argued that she was certifiably crazy/delusional? No. Was it argued that it was an accident and Casey was to scared to come forward? No. Therefore for you or any juror to simply make up those senarios and give them enough credit to foster "reasonable doubt" when they haven't even been really argued is quite ridiculous. It's sad that you are so callous to the murder of a todler.
Hey maybe aliens came down and murdered OJs wife too right? Hey I mean the burden of proof is on the state right, and how can you reallyprove it didn't happen.
You're starting to realize a point I made before that you ignored! Come on boy, you can do it, just a little bit closer!

You're making mine, any juror that hides behind that BS when it wasn't even a part of the defense to begin with is nothing but a coward. It may be part of the system we have but in this case, its far from a tool of justice. I hope if I ever make the unfortunate decision to commit crimes and get caught, I hope I get you on my jury. You're such a sucker.

Would it make you happy to just go back to a time when just thinking they're guilty is enough to lop off their head?

The same "BS" you talk about, may very well save your *** one day, I bet it won't be such BS when there's circumstantial evidence that you did something (even though you really didn't) but jurors hide behind this BS and you're found not guilty..

There's a difference between offending and aggravating. Is it only okay for you to be aggravated by someone else's opinion (i.e. the jurors)?

You do realize the defense did not HAVE to come up with any counter theories, nor did the defense have to maintain she was insane. The burden of proof is on the Prosecution who did themselves NO favors by laughing at the defense attorney during closing arguements. The defense can merely say we feel the state has not made their case, defense rests. If the burden of proof was not met, then the defense wins.

A little girl is dead.
She didn’t kill herself.
The last person known to have seen Caylee Anthony before she died was her mother.
The girl’s body was found months after she died, wrapped in plastic and duct tape.
The same sort of duct tape and plastic Caylee’s remains were found in was also in Casey’s house.
The medical examiner ruled Caylee’s death a homicide but couldn’t give a specific cause of death because the remains had deteriorated so badly.
During those six months her daughter’s body was rotting in the Florida woods not far from her home, Casey continuously lied about what happened to her own daughter. For 31 days she kept her daughter’s death a secret, then for months she pretended she didn’t know anything about Caylee’s death or disappearance.
The trunk of Casey’s car had held a dead body at some point, according to forensic analysis. It also had a strand of hair taken (according to forensic analysis) from Caylee’s head after (again according to analysis) after she was dead. There was also evidence of the presence of chloroform.
In late 2008, not long before Caylee’s body was found, Casey’s attorney’s sent the police a 30-page document saying, after months of denials, that Caylee could've been poisoned by chloroform or she could have died while she was sedated.
Once it was time to go to trial, Casey suddenly claimed that Caylee had drown in the family pool but Casey’s evil molester-father forced Casey to hide the body and keep Caylee’s death a secret. There was never any evidence offered that Casey had been molested by her father, and the judge ordered the jury to ignore these suggestions made by the defense.
Casey’s computer was repeatedly used to surf websites giving instructions on how to make chloroform.

1. So? it happens a lot..
2. Probably not, but can you prove it?
3. Prove it
4. Ok, she's dead and wrapped and taped, odd gift...
5. Probably some in a few thousand households, what's your point?
Or maybe another person used those items from the house aside from her mother, you don't know.
6. Indeed, hence why it's hard to determine cause of death.
7. So she's a shitty mother, may have been the root or inadvertent aide in causing the death, can't prove either way.
8. circumstantial
9. so?
10. From what I read she never claimed that, source? Attorney may have claimed it, doesn't necessarily mean she did.
11. this is entirely irrelevant, even if it's true that it was "multiple" times.
Go learn what actually counts as evidence in court, instead of (like the prosecution) trying to do a case by emotions instead of facts and expect the jury to go along with it.
Seriously...

The same sort of duct tape, however they were not conclusively matched to be the EXACT tape and plastic. (IE I have duct tape and hefty bags in my home too, as do my neighbors.
The medical examiner ruled Caylee’s death a homicide but couldn’t give a specific cause of death because the remains had deteriorated so badly.
There was no real viable tissue remaining, and a medical examiner is NOT a forensic anthropologist, IE an expert in bones. What could look like a crushing death for example can be the frantic attempts of a mother preforming CPR. one just does not know unless they are a FORENSIC EXPERT.
During those six months her daughter’s body was rotting in the Florida woods not far from her home, Casey continuously lied about what happened to her own daughter. For 31 days she kept her daughter’s death a secret, then for months she pretended she didn’t know anything about Caylee’s death or disappearance.
This only proves she lied, not that she murdered. She could be lying out of fear for her own life, noone KNOWS for sure.
The trunk of Casey’s car had held a dead body at some point, according to forensic analysis. It also had a strand of hair taken (according to forensic analysis) from Caylee’s head after (again according to analysis) after she was dead. There was also evidence of the presence of chloroform.
This proves the presence of a corpse not a murder. Same with the drug. Suspicious yes. Circumstantial yes. Proof beyond a reasonable doubt? No.

Not a formal confession, so again, circumstantial evidence.

Still not showing me proof she committed a murder, although you have cast the father in a negative light that no matter what you instruct the jury, that will resonate in their minds. Just as YOUR STEADFAST BELIEF SHE IS GUILT STAY WITH YOU

TL;DR I see alot of circumstantial evidence and not alot of concrete evidence. Our nation is founded on the presumption of innocence, and the burden of proof, which was not met.
The system worked adequately, just not in the way the social outcry wanted it to.

meh, difference is that Islam actually poses a severe threat to the entire world, communism in of itself doesn't.
Not to mention that it's fairly easy to determine who is.
Also as far as I'm concerned there isn't enough of a push against it, which is a bigger problem than any actual resistance to it.
But hey, I'm against all forms of political religion, and far too many are so afraid to stand against it.

Ok so to you, the Med. examiner's opinion isn't good enough? How about the fact that she was found wrapped up in duct tape and garbage bags? Please give me a plausible action where the little girl dies due to an accident and the body is thrown away in such a manner, an not reported. Also most places don't have readily accessible members of CSI or BONES to give you a comprehensive explanation. Also if Casey performed CPR on her, why wouldn't she tell anyone?
During those six months her daughter’s body was rotting in the Florida woods not far from her home, Casey continuously lied about what happened to her own daughter. Is there any evidence or indication of that? I suppose aliens could have done it too... NO ONE KNOWS FOR SURE

This proves that Caylee's corpse was at one time in her trunk. You place so much faith in forensic analysis except when they support guilt? If it was an accident, why wouldn't she tell anyone? Please some other reason aside from her alleged molesting father told her to keep her mouth shut.
In late 2008, not long before Caylee’s body was found, Casey’s attorney’s sent the police a 30-page document saying, after months of denials, that Caylee could've been poisoned by chloroform or she could have died while she was sedated.

Still happened, and it's not in dispute. It suggests that chloroform could have be used and in the end, and in the end, trace amounts of it were found in the trunk of her car where Caylee's dead body was as well. That seems like a pretty lucky guess to me
Once it was time to go to trial, Casey suddenly claimed that Caylee had drown in the family pool but Casey’s evil molester-father forced Casey to hide the body and keep Caylee’s death a secret. There was never any evidence offered that Casey had been molested by her father, and the judge ordered the jury to ignore these suggestions made by the defense.

Casey now caims that Caylee drowned in the pool, if it was an accident why didn't she tell anyone? How can you take her accusation of him being a child molester over his claim he isn't one? Isn't it all that just a he/said she/said thing at this point?
Casey’s computer was repeatedly used to surf websites giving instructions on how to make chloroform.

Your computer doesn't randomly search for it over 60 times. I guess someone else could have searched for it that many times but isn't that a bit of a stretch? If your boyfriend's computer was searching for porno would you be so ready to believe it was in legitimate error?
TL:DR If it was an accident why didn't she tell anyone? Scary boogieman of a father? Come on, isn't that a pretty big longshot? I guess all I need to do to get away with murder is claim that my father molested me and I was scared of him?

Quote: This proves that Caylee's corpse was at one time in her trunk. you don't know the different between "proves" and "suggests", lol
Quote: Proves she had the ability to do it does it not A lot of people had the ability to do it, also.
Quote: Ok so to you, the Med. examiner's opinion isn't good enough? How about the fact that she was found wrapped up in duct tape and garbage bags? Please give me a plausible action where the little girl dies due to an accident and the body is thrown away in such a manner, an not reported. Also most places don't have readily accessible members of CSI or BONES to give you a comprehensive explanation. Also if Casey performed CPR on her, why wouldn't she tell anyone? Casey being found wrapped up in duct tape and garbage bags proves that she was wrapped up in duct tape and garbage bags.
Manslaughter and negligence, amongst other things resulting in death still gives the fear of substantial jail time. Who knows, maybe something other than a murder did happen, something that scared her and that she felt the need to cover it up.
Quote: Is there any evidence or indication of that? I suppose aliens could have done it too... NO ONE KNOWS FOR SURE No, that's why "could" was used.
Quote: This proves that Caylee's corpse was at one time in her trunk. You place so much faith in forensic analysis except when they support guilt? If it was an accident, why wouldn't she tell anyone? Please some other reason aside from her alleged molesting father told her to keep her mouth shut. Not at all, it proves there was a body, which species wasn't even able to be verified was in her trunk. I already explained the accident scenario earlier in my post. You assume everyone would act the same way in an accident
Quote: Still happened, and it's not in dispute. It suggests that chloroform could have be used and in the end, and in the end, trace amounts of it were found in the trunk of her car where Caylee's dead body was as well. That seems like a pretty lucky guess to me Yes, you're right, it's very suggestive. Suggestive doesn't prove anything, moving on.
Quote: Casey now caims that Caylee drowned in the pool, if it was an accident why didn't she tell anyone? How can you take her accusation of him being a child molester over his claim he isn't one? Isn't it all that just a he/said she/said thing at this point? You keep bringing up the same point. Again, not everyone reacts the same to everything. "I don't think she would have acted this way if it was an accident, so it wasn't". That's supposed to be proof? lmao
Quote: Your computer doesn't randomly search for it over 60 times. I guess someone else could have searched for it that many times but isn't that a bit of a stretch? If your boyfriend's computer was searching for porno would you be so ready to believe it was in legitimate error? Again, suggestive=/=proof
Officially innocent, thoughts?
