Well, if that's the case, SE's more whacked than I was aware. Good luck Shaydow. Yeah, I would be spamming them on the phone til they give in. I can't see how SE can ill afford to ban accounts over something so obviously trivial

Ya the Agent i'm speaking with doesn't even want to talk to me. hes like your perma banned, and i'm like well i know this etc, but before i could even ask a question i got " There is nothing more i can do with this matter, Ive resolved your 1st problem as much as possible, thank you for choosing SE," click haha I feel like driving there and just Raging lol

It's one of their solutions to RMT. I find it just under "goblin bounty hunters" in terms of effectiveness.

the sad fact is its gunna cost you a fortune in phone bill costs too try get it fixed :/ persistance is the key!

If hes that into FFXI this is mostly true, sept the time is exaggerated, took me a week to get a Lv.90 WHM with near full +2 in my downtime outside of running my events.

What shocks me is if you had cared enough about all the work you put into your character and you've had this happen twice before even tho you were "promissed" it wouldn't happen again even tho it clearly did, why would you after two times it happening continue to use that service for your credit card/debit card choice?

Chase is notorious for this...I have 3 friends who are banned because of the same situation. Even though they have changed banks they have not yet gotten their accounts back because they got beligerant and verbally abusive the first time arround, which makes everything more difficult.

If you really want it back...Go into the bank itself and ask for a customer service manager, bypass the tellers. In as few words as possible, describe this situation, and on a paper list the actions you have already taken. If you have dates all the better. Since the glitch happened with them, insist they call SE (or was it POL) to fix the problem, in your presence. If you decide to change banks try getting help through the new bank.

SE customer service sucks majorly. You are going to have to be direct, but polite, with the reps. When they ask "How can I help you?" Tell them you need to be "warm transferred"(they have to hold with you until the supervisor answers) to a supervisor. Make sure you get a direct number to that department before you are transfered. They are going to try to insist that you have to deal with them first but be insistant in that you already know they can't help you and to just be transferred.

Breifly explain what you are trying to do and ask for advice on how to get your account unbanned. Do not argue with them, don't threaten, try not to raise your voice, it will decrease your chances of getting help. If NO luck ask for a department manager, if still no luck ask if they have a customer retention department, or someone who can help you resolve this problem that is not of your creation. There has to be a contact somewhere within the company that will be able to reverse this.

Make sure you keep a journal of your progress, names/rep ID's and phone numbers. If nothing else it might be useful for other ppl who are in the same situation.

Customer service is always the same. Most of the employees are uneducated retards that have no clue what they are suppose to do. All of my encounters with SE's service required me to call 4-5 times to get the issue resolved correctly. So don't leave it at one call. Pester the ***out of them(in the nicest and most respectful way possible). Eventually you'll get someone who knows what the hell they are doing and will help you get the issue fixed.

SE likes to blame billing issues on the bank and the bank likes to blame the company. I actually called them at the same time and every time they said, well you should ask your bank, I said, well hold on one second and I'll ask them, they are on the line. And vice versa. It worked well enough for my issue but it also wasn't as extreme as yours. I also use Capital One bank though...

My LS is full of long time friends and RL friends. They are the only people I completely trust. Maybe you just have a poor LS?

You can sue your bank. Your accounts should have verifiable value since it's already been proven through other lawsuits that virtual goods have RL value.

I'm sorry this happened to you though.
