The thing is, whatever happened between Zef and her fellow are really none of anyone's business. So when someone came swooping in and tried to paint Zef as a rotten girlfriend, even if they were right, they didn't seem to realize that this isn't the place for it. I don't know what happened with Zef's relationship, and I don't really care. What I do know is that she feels bad right now, and kicking her while she's down isn't going to accomplish much. Obviously she (or the guy) was doing something wrong, or else the breakup (or fight) would not have occurred. But the way this guy came in and said it so harshly (especially since we all already knew from her feeling guilty that she'd done something wrong) was a bit, well, jerkish.

Also, the poster was mistaken when he assumed that everyone was feeling bad for Zef. Many people have been telling her to cheer up, move on, give it time, don't feel sorry for herself. That's essentially the same thing this guy wanted to tell her, from what I gather, but he just did it in such an obnoxious way that it grated on peoples' nerves.

Maybe he was right and she was a bad girlfriend and blah blah blah. If that was the case, he should have pm'd her with his concerns instead of trying to cause drama publicly. In my opinion, anyways. If this thread was brand new, 2 pages long, and people weren't invested in it, I'd say who cares. But since a bunch of people do enjoy this thread, I would hope people don't intentionally come cause senseless drama in it just for the lolz.

It would be something to talk about for sure about her sex life
as for commitment issues, I can deal with it.

Yeah, proposing to a girl you soon thereafter find has a guy friend with benefits would definitely give you cold feet.

It wasn't any of our business until she brought it here. Maybe it's the cynicism in me, but I can't help but think someone else with the same problem wouldn't garner so much sympathy. That's what irks me.
