Doesn't hurt to follow this method, especially when all of the friends I have added are either German or from US, allowing for an automatic Masuda Method in all of the breeding I do.
I've been having some issues with my Max Repels. They literally don't work and will sometime ask me if I want to use a new one, even though I just used one 10 steps ago.
Seems to have fixed itself by simply restarting the game.
I see. But there's no telling that the Shiny is going to have good IV's so even slimmer chances of it being useful. Interesting though. Did enjoy reading on why it works.

How does it work exactly? I went there twice, cleared the whole castle but when re entering, nothing happened, no new opponents, nothing (I didn't even get a rank up on my second visit).

At certain ranks Gym Leaders and Elite 4 members start coming with high level pokemon depending on what writ you send the higher the level Pokemon.

Be sure to use the Amulet Coin and Prize Money O-Power nearly triples money.
I haven't unlocked level 2 or 3 yet for Prize Money because I have been using the Exp power but I'm sure it gets pretty ridiculous.

no, has to be certain egg groups. torkoal and bibarel off the top of my head i know will pass to eevee. you need a male that knows the move and a female eevee or one of it's evolutions.
O-Powers are amazing. The level up the more you use them. It takes a while my EXP+ one didn't reach level 2 until after I'd say 20 uses? Each power lasts 3 minutes and uses Stamina from the Stamina bar located at the bottom of the O-Powers it refills automatically over time. I'd say 15 minutes the most for back to full.
