Wanting some feedback on WARTP/WS sets
Basically this for raging Rush/Ukko's (Thunder Gorget/Belt for Ukkos)
For TP if your not /SAM grim Cuirass should beat body +2 If Berserk is down Grim should beat Zahak's Mail. Excuse my Mask not being +2 WARTP Here for me. I need a Goading but haste is still capped. The elemental resistance/HP down isnt a big deal for me since I have a MDT and PDT build I'd use Ravager's Orb or bomb core over fire bomblet. You likely don't need the ACC from the Bomblet for TP. Could optimally try to configure that towards a 5-hit, at least inside Abyssea, which would mean a few swaps.
For RR, remember that it doesn't actually have a DEX mod, and that with Cruor buffs/RR, dDEX for crit rate will be capped. Definitely leave +2 feet in for crit damage increase. Probably leave +2 legs and Atheling in for DA boost. A crit% body or large ATT/STR body would be good as well. Outside of Abyssea, some of that may be different. Bellicus Cuisses would be nice but I cant get decent augs.

I'm thinking it would be the same for RR Given your gear, I'm thinking you could afford/get the r/e pieces that you would need for a pure 5hit /sam; If that's something you'd be willing to do, it would increase your overall dps significantly/ All of this would be inside abyssea. You'd want to gear a little differently outside of abyssea, where you aren't instantly capped on most stats. Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't a 5-hit build be better?
With Carbonara this is a 5-hit build & Capped Haste. Edit: Don't know why second ring isn't showing :< Im hating myself for not having rose strap :/
Could use Hoard Ring instead.
Hmm my main complain is when I finish Ukon. Im gonna have to do camp. battles non stop D:

[92 days between previous and next post]well, the extra store tp doesn't do anything for you as far as i can tell, unless i mathed wrong 2 ticks vv won't bring the second set down to a 5hit (and some people don't use vv anymore anyway).
so you're looking at: str 12, att 14, crit 3%, da 4% vs. str 9, att ~27 assuming capped ddex/acc, no restraint, no need for hp etc. but correct me if i'm wrong, because i haven't even bothered to gear my war. I believe the 504 Delay GA should aim for the Sword strap, which is where the extra Stp on build #2 comes into play.
I've had good results with claymore grip personally. Though Claymore/Sword are basically the best grips atm? X hit build not being effected by sword strap that is

I've just hit level 90 on my WAR this morning, and the concept of gearing it is somewhat alien to me. I've seen mention of 5-hit setups but no mention of how to attain them, and mention of 6-hit setups like the ones further up. For now I'll have to work with Elephas Axe/Warlord's Axe/Widowmaker, but I plan on working toward Maschu+2, so I'm mostly working with 504 delay G.axes. After working it out myself, a 5-hit seems to require carbonara unless I'm missing a piece of gear. Again, I'm not very familiar with WAR. Thanks. Probably forgetting Tactical Mantle, but yea I'd have 6hit with Sword strap anyway.

Bullwhip and different ring like Mars's Ring if you can get.
Can get 20.9 TP/hit with a 504 delay gaxe, so it's completely attainable.
---/Rose/---/Wtath Zelus/Ravager's/Ravager's/Brutal AF3+2/AF3+2/Hoard/Rajas Tactical/Goading/AF3+2/AF3+2 is 20.5 TP, meaning you can WS in just Rajas/Rose/Brutal for 100.1 TP/cycle as long as you land one additional hit of Raging Rush. Regain earring or VV ticks would offer some flexibility, or you could WS in some STP to reduce STP needed for TP slightly. Actually, just occurred to me that Ukon now has a 5-hit without regain thanks to STP augment on Byakko's Haidate? Worth it?
