Losing Goading would destroy his 6-hit, if I'm not mistaken, considering the Sword Strap (Or it'd be very. damn. close.).

Would nocturnus technically be a better TP body in place of aurum? Unless I'm mistaken, I don't need the 7STP to maintain the 6-hit. So it comes down to 1%TA 7~8atk vs. 20 atk

You should be ok with Noct after using Raging Rush

12* (I can't count) with sword strap puts you right on the mark, and 7 without sword strap.

504 delay, without sword strap, seven in gear as /sam (16.7%/hit)

504 delay, with sword strap, twelve in gear as /sam (16.7%/hit)

Good to know thanks. Missing too much stuff to do a 5 hit, so I guess for the time being, I'll just pimp out my 6 hit. Thanks for the numbers! :)

Edit: Yeah shoulda specified /sam. Forgot you could sub anything else on war >.>

Sorry for the double post >.>
But which would be better ya think? with or without sword strap?
Or should i just suck it up and finish a 5 hit?
Main reason I've been slacking is because I've heard some solid arguments against 5 hit on war =(

Its my understanding (because this is the same for Samurai main) that you just sacrifice too much in aby to get the 5 hit, not to mention, all the DA/TA from atma and gear..you'd be hard-pressed to not overflow a lot (15% TA from AoA atma alone is pretty boss)

For WAR, this is what I understood about the whole 6-hit vs. 5-hit ordeal. Weak ***: 5-hit maybe better. Anything serious: 5-Hit = Crap
Thank you, Sir. I'ma just have to stalk you in game later and ask you tons of questions >.>
It's cool though, you <3 me.

Quick question for outside abyssea Ukko's set; How would this set:
Subligar +1 has STR+2 Crit hit rate +2, Heca hands has Crit DMG +2
Compare to Using Byakko's Haidate/Hecatomb Leggings +1? Heca feet have STR+2 GA skill +3

I would think you would always want war AF3+2 feet on for a crit WS ya? Isn't it something like +10% crit dmg on the +2? Seems it would far outweigh anything you could put on that slot

If you're talking strictly outside only, wouldn't the subligar+1 be better? We're hard pressed to get the amazing att we can get inside, in just our outside gears... And I'm pretty sure Ukko's does benefit from a decent bit of att.

You got some nice augments on Heca, congrats. However, I feel your build could need moar DEX imo.

Let's just say that depending on your buffs, meaning whether you have Berserk and Bloodrage up, you could see some noticeable differences in your build.

I'll link the topic where Night and I discussed about it. Hopefully it'll help you.

It's just a 2 page read with lots of sets that were adjusted upon the latest update. I guess a few extra considerations could be made due to more data on HQ Heca augments being available. I'll look into it in a few days.

Yeah, I was reading that thread was looking at the OP sets and judging based off that; Im asking for my friend since he just finished his ukon and trying to work out his sets. He feels that his Heca subligar +1 augments would outweigh Byakko's (Not augmented yet) for the crit rate and 2 extra STR on it. But we're not sure yet.

Well, I'd say the trick to them would be to try and split between high buff and low buff situations. With higher attack and forced crit attacks you should benefit more from BH's Crit Dmg, whereas with lower buffs you could benefit more from Subligar's Atk and Crit rate.

However, the difference between BH's 15 DEX and the subligar's 9 DEX cold also require your char's race to be kept into account.
