I ride a 2004 Honda CBR600RR, though I'm looking to sell it so that I can move from Michigan to Illinois to live with my girl. @.@;

I live in the Toledo, OH area, so there's no real scenic routes in the area (unless you consider the farmland in Michigan 'scenic' >.>).
I've got kicked out of a few clubs in toledo lol.

I find Ohios backcountry roads to be pretty peaceful though, just gotta go a bit further south though.

That looks like a big show bike for the overweight/elderly.
:D

I never understood the appeal of those big bikes, my uncle had one before he went to prison and it was repo'd.

Big, heavy, clunky, no power, no speed (speaking in relative terms of course) $20,000 for a bike could get you so much more if it wasn't a touring bike...

Idk they appeal more to me than "sports bikes".
Young kids go for the sports bikes, older for harleys/choppers. Maybe its a phase growing up?

At least it's not a sissy bike, that's all that counts.

harleys like that happen to be the "big man"recliners of the motor vehicle world.

I get the point of that, because a crotch rocket and a cruiser/tourer sit completely differently, but why add on all that extra weight and add-ons when you could get so much more?

You can still keep the same bike more or less, but cut out all that extra ***and put it directly into the bike itself (the engine and it's actual frame) I dunno if that makes sense.

If I had the choice between a custom 30k cruiser and a 30k tourer, I'd choose the cruiser with no hesitation..

Hell I'd choose a 15k cruiser over a 30k tourer.

I ride with people ranging from 18~58 on all kinds of bikes and riding experience and I think other bikers here will agree with me,that it doesnt matter what you ride as long as everyone is careful and respects each other on and off the bike,you can get along with almost everyone regardless of what they ride.

Edit: I cant find any pictures of mine :'( Stupid 7 external drives with pictures scattered everywhere ;-;

essentially as previously stated i don't really think it matters much about what your ride as long as you aren't *** around and putting yourself/others in danger.

All the more reason to hate them.

Does any girl here actually like Axe (of course compared to straight body odor it'd be preferable, but they market the ***like women go nuts over it).

Lane splitting, thankfully, is legal in California as long as it is done "...in a safe and prudent manner".

I can understand from a cagers perspective why they think it is "dangerous". The reason behind this is simple -- YOU NEVER SAW THE BIKER IN THE FIRST PLACE!

If cagers paid more attention to driving their opinions would change. However with radios, cell phones, PDAs, iPods, children, make-up, newspapers, eating, drinking, etc.. drivers have too many other distractions than to lookout for motorcyclists.

Learn to drive "in a safe and prudent manner" and maybe, just maybe you'll see the motorcycle coming.

Just saying

I believe the best course of action is to watch out for yourself and avoid dangerous situations. Obviously, disaster can strike at any moment, regardless of how safe you are.. But I'd rather be home bitching to all my friends about the *** on the freeway not paying attention I barely managed to avoid, than layed up in a hospital bed telling them how I never saw him coming.

Being on both sides (a biker that nearly got hit, and someone who nearly ran over a biker) I have to tell you, bikers should really do more than they already do to stay safe. Even if you are legally entitled to the road and are in the right of way, the jackass that ran the redlight will most likey be sitting at home in 48 hours, you could too, if you were more proactive about safety.

the problem is the fact that you are always going to have some jackass that doesn't give a ***about everyone else around them that either wrecks into you or does a plethora of things that would cause an accident.

Exactly why bikers should be more proactive, and not expecting that every other driver on the road sees you, or even gives a ***whether you live or die.

Also, no you didn't fix it, it was correct already, you *** it up.
