Something I just came across that I found pretty useful, a program called
Free YouTube Download. I was using IDM before, which is good for single videos, but since I switched to chrome and I lost the firefox plugin
BYTubeD, I had no quick way to start downloading an entire YouTube playlist, or pick and choose what videos I want from the playlist, in the quality I desired.
I started using their Beta 3.2.0.105 build and I found out that they've added a button to video pages, as well as playlist pages.
Unlike ByTubeD+IDM, it will keep track of the changing URL's that YouTube generates to prevent hotlinks to download videos, so you'll never start downloading a playlist and have it stop midway because the links no longer were active.
I just thought I'd share my little find with you all. I just enjoy watching certain shows on YouTube, but I can't reliably stream anything in higher resolutions without waiting for the buffer. For me personally, I just want to start the video up in the highest resolution available and have no worries that it will stop halfway, or that I'll have to wait a minute for the buffer to build up.
