I've only ever had any problems with it in blighttown or on PC because my graphics card sucks and needed updating a year ago :/

I had a little lag at firelink shrine if you are standing on the stone steps looking back over the bonfire. Then a little in Darkroot Basin, but the worst was Blighttown. Hate that place.

I noticed some kind of laggy drop just when dropping into asylum demons thing lol... it's like I hit the attack button and nothing.

lol this person didn't know that pet gets re-summoned when SMN mob uses 2-hr, so they woke it up and wiped us all in dynamis. Had 15min left and 1.7k xp remaining for RNG hat trial. I dunno how you could not know that...

Were you out of stamina or staggered instead? Certain actions can essentially make you stagger yourself, causing you to not be able to do anything for a moment.

I doubt PC has the issue unless your PC sucks. According to a few articles, the lag on PS3 has to do with AI pathing more often than not. Like in blighttown, the narrow paths make it kind of hard for the AI to do a clear path thus causing the game's AI processor to lag down.
